He's All That!

WOW!  I really love this new He's All That Suite!  It's a GREAT masculine suite for those of us that have husbands/fathers/sons/etc that don't fish or hunt!  haha!  I predict a lot of masculine cards coming in the near future!  For now, here's one I made for the Freshly Made Sketches this week!

Maysas2

The colors in the He's the Man Specialty Paper are amazing!  This sheet used Soft Succulent and Early Espresso!  So, the card base is Basic White, and then a layer of Early Espresso--which was embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder.  I think it looks a bit like plaid?!?  The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso and colored with the Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends.  Be very careful when doing this, as the Early Espresso can bleed!

Masking again!  It's so fun!  This time, I used two strips of masking tape and added Misty Moonlight Ink with the Blending Brush.   The dies are from the Amazing Thanks Dies -- love them!!  Hope to see more word dies in the next catalog!

Sweet Conversations for St. Patty's Day!

Good morning!  The "Just Us Girls" Challenge this week was a word challenge:  "Lucky".  This automatically made me think of the "luck of the Irish"-- I know, I know -- how did I ever think of that!!  haha!!  Maybe because it's March, and we're all Irish in March!  :-)

Well, I don't have a Shamrock stamp (need to remedy that!), so I used the next best thing--a heart!!

20220307_160024

Aren't they positioned perfectly!!  It's so easy to do with your Stamparatus!  The small white cardstock is 2 1/2" square.  Place this in the corner of your Stamparatus, and place the heart in the middle, just below the edge of the White cardstock.  Stamp, then rotate your cardstock 90 degrees.  Stamp again, and repeat until you have a three leaf clover.  If you want to be extra lucky, stamp a 4th heart for a four leaf clover!

Pretty simple, but cute!!  I finished it off with a sentiment from the "A Wish for Everything" Stamp Set.  I don't use this set very much, and I'm not sure why--it's got soooo many great sentiments!   The bling are the In Color Jewels!

Monochromatic? Yes, Please!

Good morning!  As promised, here is another card (actually two!) for the Monochromatic Challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!  I didn't use the sketch for these!

For this first one, I stamped the tree from the Amazing Silhouettes Set three times, then cut them out using the skinny rectangle from the Ornate Layers Dies.  Funny--this set of dies has so many pretty frames, and I tend to use the plain one most often!   I popped these up using Stampin' Dimensionals.  I used the Timeworn Type embossing folder to add a little texture behind the trees.  I really love the way this card came out! oh--and this is Misty Moonlight!

Tsot540a

This one is all about the Garden Green!  Very simple to make--just stamped the image several times, sometimes without reinking in between.  The "Thanks" was cut from the Amazing Thanks Dies -- love the layered words, don't you?!!  The ribbon is the Frayed Ribbon, and I did just that--frayed it!!

Hope you like the cards!
