Anything but a Card!! Feed

Gifts for my Stamp Club!

Good morning!  This fun treat was a gift for my stamp club ladies last weekend!

Aug cc gift

It's my version of a "thank you" card for their orders!  I used the Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set along with the Heartwarming Hugs DSP!  Simple but cute, I think!

Club Celebration!!

I love my clubs--these ladies have become my friends, and we always have a great time!  Our current round of clubs finished up in November (we start again in January!), so I wanted to do a fun class just for them!!  They didn't have to purchase anything--just show up and stamp!!  Here are the three things we made:

Sweetclass2

This is a fun hot chocolate slider!  If you pull on the ribbon, it pulls the hot cocoa packet up!!  I love all the sparkle!!

Clubornamenta

I saw a similar ornament on Stampin' Connection (our demo sharing site!), and just had to try it!!  It's also very sparkly!!

and finally, we made the bows, using the wonderful instructions that Stampin' Up! is including with orders:

Clubbow

This was my favorite project!!  I love these little bows!

I have just one spot left in my Monday Card Club.  If you're interested, you can see all the details HERE.

Merry Christmas!!!

Super Easy Gift Card Holder (and how to!)

Good morning!!  We made this fun gift card holder at Patsy's workshop in November!  All the ladies loved it, so I thought I would share it with you!

Patsy1

It's really just a Medium Very Vanilla envelope folded in half, and embellished!!  Here's the inside, so you can see what I mean:

Patsy1a

So, all you do--fold the envelop in half, and crease with your bone folder.  Then, open it up and cut a slit in the flap of the envelope, along the fold line.  "Seal" the left half of the flap closed.  Then, stamp and embellish!  Here are the measurements I used:

For the front:

Gumball Green cardstock:  2 3/4" x 4 1/4", scrap for Decorative Label Punch  (punch, then cut in half and adhere to back of sentiment to create the mat)

Be of Good Cheer Designer Paper:  2 1/2" x 4"

Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon:  about 20"

For the inside:

Cherry Cobbler cardstock:  2 1/2" x 4"

Very Vanilla cardstock:  2 3/8" x 3 7/8"

I used the Snowflake Soiree Stamp Set for both the sentiment and the inside--makes it just a bit more festive!!

So, go make some gift card holders!! LOL!!

Or, come buy some from me at the St. Pius Craft Show on Saturday, December 8, 9am to 4pm!!!  I'll have several different designs!!

Fun "Fudge" Treat! (and tutorial!)

I've been making these Fudge Treats for several years now.  This year, I decided to change it up a bit, and just use regular sized candy bars!

Fitefudge1

Isn't it cute?  Here it is "open":

Fitefudge2

Here's how to make these SUPER easy treats:

Here's what you'll need (click on pic to make it bigger!):

Fitefudge3

I used the Scentsational Christmas Stamp Set and Real Red classic ink.  But, you can decorate any way you choose!!  (leave me a comment so I can see your ideas!)

Cut and score your Real Red cardstock, then fold and adhere closed.  You'll have two open ends.

Wrap your designer paper (I used a design from the Snow Festival Designer Paper) around the Real Red sleeve and adhere.

Now, punch a hole in the top of the Real Red Sleeve:

Fitefudge4

I used the 1/4" punch found in the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.  I punched one side, then used that hole as a guide to punch the other side.

Now, print out the Homemade Christmas Fudge poem:

Download Fudge

I found this poem in an old Paper Crafter's Magazine, and I created this file.  I did NOT write the poem!

Trim your poem, then layer onto your Gumball Green cardstock and attach to your Real Red sleeve.

Insert your Gumball Green 1/4" Sweater Trim (use about 18") through both holes.

Fitefudge5

Then, insert your candy bar--use it to "push" your sweater trim into the sleeve:

Fitefudge6

insert completely, so that you can't see the candy bar:

Fitefudge7

then tie a know in your sweater trim:

Fitefudge8

You'll want the know fairly close to the opening, to keep the candy bar from slipping out the bottom.

Now you can simply pull up on the ribbon to make the candy bar appear!!

I told you it was easy!!  Can't wait to see what you do!!!

Hi!!  And welcome to my little spot on the SUDSOL Blog Tour!  I hope you're enjoying the tour so far!

So, what is SUDSOL?  It's only one of the greatest places on the web for demonstrators to share and get ideas--both business and creative ideas!!  I've been a member for a million years, and I love it!  I'm also one of the Coordinators for one of the many programs they offer on SUDSOL.  If you're a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, please click HERE and give it a try!  You can get a FREE two week trial!  See if you like it!  (I know you will!!)

SUDSOL - Your 24/7 Upline

Okay, now on to the projects!!!

We're highlighting the Holiday Catalog on this tour, so I decided to do a few Halloween projects!  All three projects use the Goodly Ghouls Stamp Set!

Sudsbt1

This first project is a "Box Card"!  It folds flat so you can mail it, but when you open it, there's a box underneath!!  I got the pattern on SUDSOL HERE!  SUDSOL has a whole library of templates and patterns--and the best part--step by step instructions, along with great samples to follow!

Sudsbt2

Here it is, open:

Sudsbt2a

Wouldn't this be fun to send with some Pop Rocks inside?!!  Or, anything "flat"!  (like money!)

And, this little box, I CASE'd right from the Stampin' Success (our demonstrator newsletter from Stampin' Up!):

Sudsbt3

Isn't he cute?!!

Last but not least is a super cute gum holder:

Sudsbt4

Scarey, huh?!!!  The main image is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals, and the flap is tucked under it to hold it closed:

Sudsbt4a

I found the idea for this box in the SUDSOL Gallery!  Connie had made a cute one using the Bootiful Occasions stamp set.  I used her template, and made my own!!  You can see hers HERE!  Our Gallery has hundreds of samples, with more added every single day!  So many ideas, so little time! :-)
