Fond of Autumn

Good morning!  Here's a bright card using the Fond of Autumn Stamp Set!  I wanted to show you that "autumn" sets don't always have to be "autumn" colors!!

  • Polished Pink: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score at 4 ¼”

  • Basic White: 4 7/8” x 3 5/8”

  2. Stamp the flower image from Fond of Autumn repeatedly, creating a beautiful pattern.
  3. Color in your flowers, using Stampin’ Blends. Used here:  Light Granny Apple Green, Light Polished Pink, and Dark Daffodil Delight.
  4. Carefully remove your masking paper.
  5. Tie the Gingham ribbon around your card at the masked line. Tie off in a knot.
  6. Stamp your sentiment at the bottom.
  7. Assemble your card as shown, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Quiet Meadow, Blended Background!

Good morning!  This morning's card uses several techniques--using a decorative mask, die stacking, and blending inks!  Enjoy!!

  • Basic White Thick:  8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4”
  • Basic Black:  3 1/4” x 4 7/8”;  4” x 5” (to cut 3 blooms)
  • Basic White:  3 1/8” x 4 3/4”;  Scrap for sentiment

  1. Fold your card base and adhere the 3 1/4” x 4 7/8” piece of Basic Black cardstock to the front.  Set aside.
  2. Align the plaid decorative mask over the Basic White panel.  Use washi tape or painters tape on the back of the white cardstock to hold the mask in place.  Flip over.
  3. Using a blending brush, apply Granny Apple Green ink to the bottom third of the panel.  Repeat with the Sweet Sorbet and Tahitian Tide inks.  Be sure you blend the different colors together so there aren’t “harsh” lines in between.
  4. Remove mask, and adhere to Basic Black mat.
  5. From the 4” x 5” panel of Basic Black, cut 3 blooms.   Glue them together to form a stack, using the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
  6. Adhere this to the front of your card.
  7. Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and cut out using the coordinating die.  Adhere this over your bloom, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  8. Add 3 iridescent Pearls to the front of the card!

Stylish Sketches

Wow!  Can you believe there's only 2 weeks left of Sale-a-bration!!  Be sure you head on over and get your Stylish Sketches FREE with purchase!!

This is another card we made at our Club Meeting in August.

The base of this card is Mossy Meadow cardstock--chosen to coordinate with the pretty designer paper from the Rustic Harvest DSP!  The "Thank You" is from the Charming Sentiments bundle (links for all product can be found below).  The vine was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and colored with a Water Painter and ink refills--Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow.  Hint:  use a palette for your refills to keep your stamp pads clean!  Or, even an stamping block!  Then, cut with Layering Circles Dies and the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine!  Simple but striking card!
