Rainbow of Happiness

A bright and cheery card to start your week!

  • Thick Basic White: 11” x 4-1/4” & 5-1/4” x 4”
  • Pale Papaya: scrap large enough for largest arch
  • Polished Pink: scrap large enough for second largest arch
  • Highland Heather: scrap for second smallest arch, and 2” x 2” for circle
  • Pool Party: scrap for smallest arch

  1. Score the long piece of Basic White cardstock at 5-1/2". Fold in half, and use your Bone Folder to create a sharp crease.
  2. Use your die cutting machine and the die with the four large arches to cut the arches into the bottom left corner of your 5-1/4" x 4" piece of cardstock. Be sure to leave a border around the two sides so that the rainbow doesn't go right to the edge.
  3. Add Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the die cut cardstock. Cut thin pieces from the edges of the Mini Stampin’ Dimensional sheet and attach them to the thin curved pieces between the arches.  Adhere this layer to the card front.
  4. Die cut each of the arches from the coloured cardstock. Use Stampin' Seal to glue these arches to the cardstock base. Refer to the photo for placement of each colour.
  5. Use Versamark ink to stamp the phrase onto the square of Highland Heather cardstock. Cover with white embossing powder, and shake off the excess.  Heat using your Heat Tool until all of the powder has melted and is glossy.
  6. Die cut the phrase with the large circle on the Picture This circles die. Adhere to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  7. Add 5 Polished Dots to the card front.

Flowing Flowers in Pale Papaya

  • Pale Papaya (base): 5 ½” x 8 ½”; scored at 4 ¼”
  • Basic White (layer): 5 ¼” x 4”
  • Basic White (layer): 3 ¾” x 2 ¾”
  • Basic Gray (layer): 4” x 3”
  • Ribbon: 8” & 5”

  1. Fold your Pale Papaya card base in half.
  2. On the smaller piece of Basic White, put one small piece of adhesive in the middle. And then attach the smaller piece to the larger piece.  This is just to hold it in place temporarily while you stamp.
  3. Stamp the flowers with Pale Papaya ink so that some of the flowers go partly on the small piece and partly on the bigger piece. Don’t worry about any “gaps” between the two pieces of cardstock as they will get covered up later.
  4. Stamp the saying, with Basic Gray ink on the bottom right of the smaller piece of cardstock.
  5. Carefully remove the smaller piece of White cardstock and attach it to the Basic Gray layer.
  6. Attach the larger piece of stamped White cardstock to the front of the card base.
  7. Wrap the shorter piece of ribbon around the middle of the smaller piece of white cardstock and secure it at the back.
  8. Attach the smaller layer to front of the card base using dimensionals.
  9. Tie a bow with the longer piece of ribbon and attach it to the card front with glue dots.
  10. Add three gray Matte Dots to the front of the card.

Artfully Layered for a Challenge!

Good morning!  I had such a great morning!  Finished plans for a swap and a class!  So, took a few moments to stamp for fun!  Wasn't sure what I wanted to create, so headed to my pinterest board where I collect sketches and color combinations!  I found the sketch at Try Stampin' On Tuesday, and here's what I came up with:

This suite is sooooo easy to work with!  The colors are amazing, and everything coordinates perfectly!!  More samples to come, I promise!!

Here's the sketch--I followed it pretty closely!  (I'm a rule follower by nature! haha!)

And, here are all the wonderful products used on today's card -- I've listed the suite and bundle--please don't order both!

Let's Set Sail!

Here's a great masculine bundle for you:  Let's Set Sail!!  I love that it's a punch, rather than dies.  Don't get me wrong--I love dies!  But, it's nice to have variety!
