CARD: Back on Your Feet

Measurements: 

• Basic White: 5 ½ x 8 1/2” (score and fold at 4 1/4”); 2 3/8 x 3 ¼”, 2 ¼ x 3 1/8” (2)
• Pattern Party DSP: 4 ¾ x 1 ½”, 4 ½ x 1 ¼”

Instructions:

1. Lightly sponge Balmy Blue ink onto smallest Whisper White Cardstock.
2. Usine Momento Ink, stamp turtle onto the sponged piece and the other small whisper white. Color one with Stampin’ Blends, cut out and layer onto the sponged piece with Stampin’Dimensionals.
3. Stamp the greeting onto lower right corner of Granny apple Green.
4. Layer card as shown in the photo with Stampin’ Seal.

CARD: All for Baby

Measurements: 

• Balmy Blue: 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”
• Misty Moonlight: 5 3/8” x 4 1/8”
• Thick Basic White: 5 1/4” x 4”, 6” x 2” (for cloud mask), 5 1/4” x 4 1/4” (for onesies),
• 3” x 3” for sentiment panel , 5 1/4” x 4” for the inside. Small scrap for sentiment.

Instructions:

1. Score the Balmy Blue card base at 4 1/4”; adhere the Misty Moonlight panel and set aside.
2. Die cut a mask with the Cloud die from the 6” x 2” Thick Whisper White.
3. With the smallest Layering Circle, die cut a mask on a piece of Post It Note and lay it on the Basic White card panel. (Don’t throw away the remaining negative piece.)
4. With the cloud die cut, use a Blending Brush to create a background of clouds with Balmy Blue ink. Make sure to keep the Post It mask in the upper left where you want the sun to be. Add about three layers of random clouds on the card panel.
5. Using the negative from the Post It Note circle, position it over the “sun” circle and use a Blending Brush to color the sun with So Saffron ink.
6. Die cut three “onesies” with Thick Basic White and decorate with the stars as shown with So Saffron, Misty Moonlight, and Soft Succulent inks.
7. Stamp the clothes line with Gray Granite ink on the card panel about 2” down. Lightly position the Onesies where you would like them to be (don’t add them yet), and then stamp the clothes pins with Soft Suede ink. Add the Onesies to the clothes line with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
8. Stamp the sentiment with Misty Moonlight on a scrap of thick Basic White and fussy cut the individual words.
9. Die cut the second largest Hippo & Friends frame with Thick Whisper White card stock. Add the sentiment words with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp the small heart on a scrap with Real Red ink and die cut with the heart die. Adhere the card panel to the card base and add the sentiment die cut to the top right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
10. Add Wink of Stella to the sun as well as the heart on the sentiment panel.
11. Add a 5 1/4” x 4” panel to the inside of the card and decorate the inside if desired.

CARD: Celebrate Sunflowers

Good morning, and Happy Monday!  It was such a nice weekend--was able to get all my "chores" done, as well as some stamping!!  My new stamp club starts next month--so excited to see these ladies again!  It's been a long time!

I needed to make a card for a swap, and really wanted to use the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set.  I struggle sometimes with the large images, and to day was no exception!  So, I went to my Challenge Board on Pinterest, and the Paper Players Sketch Challenge gave me my answer!!

The designer paper is from the Hostess pack:  Pattern Party!  Love the variety in this pack!  Lot's of colors on one side, and black & whites on the other!  For the sentiment, I used the Inpsired Thoughts Stamp Set.  The sentiments in the Celebrate Sunflowers set didn't quite fit on the card!  :-)

CARD: Plentiful Plants

Measurements: 

• Thick Basic White: 5-½” x 8-½” scored at 4-¼”,
• Evening Evergreen: 2-1/8” x 5”
• Soft Succulent: 3” x 4-¼”
• Basic White: ½” x 3”
• Paper Lattice: 7/8” x 3”
• DSP: 2-¾” x 4”, Pot & Leaf images to die-cut

Instructions:

1. Adhere the Evening Evergreen CS to the card base. Adhere Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the Soft Succulent CS and adhere to card base.
2. Use a paper snips to tidy up the Paper Lattice piece to make both top and bottom match. Adhere to Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP with Multipurpose Liquid Glue approximately 1 ½” from bottom edge.
3. Stamp saying of choice on the Basic White CS banner with the Cinnamon Cider ink. Banner the end with the Tailored Tag Punch.  Attach to Paper Lattice layer with dimensionals.
4. Die-cut images of choice from Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP with the coordinating dies. Adhere to right side of card with dimensionals

CARD: Measure of Love

Measurements: 

• Basic White: 4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 5 ½” , 5” x 3 ¾”, plus scrap piece

Instructions:

 

1. Fold Basic White card stock in half to create card base.
2. Stamp sentiment repeatably with Black Memento onto 5” x 3 ¾” (I stamped it 7 times).
3. Use Black Memento ink pad to stamp the scale onto scrap piece of Basic White card stock. Colour the scale with Real Red Blends Markers & cut out with scissors.
4. Stamp the scale a second time onto scrap Basic White card stock. Use Real Red ink pad to stamp the hand. Cut the scale face using smallest circle in the Layering Circle dies. Place a rhinestone on centre. Adhere to card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (or Stampin' Seal).
5. Stamp the outline bowl image with Bumblebee ink pad onto scrap Basic White card stock. Stamp the inside bowl image with Bumblebee ink, stamping off first to get a softer look.
6. Ink the row of hearts image with Bermuda Bay and stamp onto the bowl.
7. Line up the cherries stamp on top of bowl and stamp with Merry Merlot ink pad. Add the leaves and stem image, stamping with Just Jade ink. Cut out the bow of cherries and glue onto the scale.
8. Wrap Bumblebee gingham ribbon across the front of the stamped piece, securing in back. Adhere to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
9. Add a ribbon bow, securing in place with Mini Glue Dots.
10. Add Shimmery Crystal Effects to the cherries for shine and texture. Set aside to dry.

CARD: Hats Off

Measurements:  

• Night of Navy CS card base: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored in half at 4-1/4
• Polished Pink CS Layer: 5-3/8” x 4-1/8”
• Basic White CS: 5-1/4” x 4”
• Night of Navy CS layer: 5” x 3-3/4”
• Basic White CS for sentiment: 2-3/8” x ¾”
• Basic White CS for the inside: 5-1/4” x 4”

Instructions:

1. Burnish the fold in the card base using a Bone Folder.
2. Stamp the star from the Hats Off stamp set in Versamark ink all over the Night of Navy CS layer, then heat emboss in white.
3. Stamp the sentiment from the To the Moon stamp set in Polished Pink ink onto the small Basic White CS piece.
4. Glue the Polished Pink CS layer onto the card front.
5. Glue the Basic White CS layer onto the Polished Pink CS layer.
6. Glue the Night of Navy CS layer onto the Basic White CS layer
7. Glue the sentiment onto the Night of Navy CS layer.
8. Glue the 5-1/4” x 4” Basic White CS onto the inside of the card base.

CARD: In Symmetry

Measurements:

• Just Jade:5 ½” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”, crease folded with Bone Folder, 2-1/2” x 1-1/2”
• Night of Navy: 4” x 5-1/4”
• Designer Series Paper: 3-3/4” x 5”, 1” x 6”
• Thick Basic White: 2-1/2” x 4-1/2”
• Ribbon: 5”

Instructions:

1. With Stampin’ Seal, adhere DSP to Night of Navy layer. Position strip of DSP in center, wrap ends around back and adhere to card front. Affix piece to Just Jade card base.
2. Stamp three Night of Navy flowers ¼” apart. With Just Jade ink, stamp stems and leaves.
3. Stamp same flower with Bumblebee ink on Bumblebee card stock. Using Paper Snips, fussy cut out the center flower.
4. Stamp sentiment on Just Jade card stock.
5. Using the largest die with squared ends, cut out Basic White flower piece and sentiment piece. With Stampin’ Seal, attach sentiment to end of tag.
6. Tie ribbon onto end of tag.
7. Affix the three Bumblebee flowers to Night of Navy flower center with one Stampin’ Dimensional each. Add one Pale Papaya In Color Jewel to center of each flower.
8. Affix tag piece to card front with five Stampin’ Dimensionals.
