CARD: Darling Donkeys!

Good morning!!  Yes, I have another Darling Donkeys card for you today!  This is one we made at our stamp-a-stack yesterday--and I think it was everyone's favorite!!

CARD: Darling Donkeys

Measurements: 

• Smoky Slate: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
• Rococo Rose: 3 3/4″ x 5″
• Whisper White: 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″; Inside cut out 2 3/4″ x 4″; 1″ x 2 3/8″ stitched rectangle
• Oh So Ombre DSP: 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″

Instructions:

1. Adhere the designer series paper to the Rococo Rose cardstock.
2. Cut out a 2 3/4″ x 4″ Stitched Rectangle opening from the Whisper White cardstock. Adhere to the card.
3. Stamp greeting on to scrap Whisper White cardstock, cut out using the 1″ x 2 3/8″ Stitched Rectangle Die. Add to the card using dimensionals.
4. Stamp the donkey onto Shimmery White cardstock using Memento Black ink. Give it time to dry or use a Heat Tool before coloring.
5. Use Blends to color. Cut out using Paper Snips. Add to the card using Dimensionals.

 

CARD: Heartfelt

Are you ready for Valentine's Day?  I think this year, it is more important than ever to send some love to all!  It doesn't have to be your significant other--what about a friend, or a coworker, or a neighbor?  Or maybe you know someone who is struggling with isolation?  Imagine how a handmade card might brighten their day!!

Here's a fun card--make several and get them sent!

I used the new True Love Designer Series Paper, and colored with Real Red ink--brushed on with our new Blending Brushes!!  The rest is just stamping and punching!  Fun & easy!

CARD: Soar Confidently

Good morning!  (almost afternoon!)  I have a great masculine card for you today!  It was really easy to make--give it a try!

Measurements: 

• Crumb Cake: 4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 5 ½”; 2” x 4 ½” (3), Scrap for sentiment
• Basic Black: 5 ¼” x 4”;  1” x 4” (3); scrap for sentiment
• World of Good DSP: 5 1/8” x 3 7/8”

Instructions:

1. Stamp the balloon once on each of the 2” x 4 ½” pieces of Crumb Cake. Cut out using the Ornate Borders Dies.  Place the die in a different position for each cut—so you’ll have a right side of the balloon, a center and a left side.
2. Adhere these to the 3 pieces of Black cardstock.
3. Stamp sentiment on scrap of Crumb Cake and punch out using the Double Oval Punch. Also punch the scalloped oval from a scrap of Basic Black.
4. Assemble card as shown. The three Balloon panels are adhered using Black Stampin’ Dimensionsals, along with the oval piece.  The rest of the card is assembled using Stampin’ Seal.

CARD: Berry Blessings

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Sale-a-bration selections!  I love that it comes with the stamp set and matching Designer Paper!!  Also coordinates with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle in the Jan-June Catalog!

Measurements: 

• Granny Apple Green: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score at 4 ¼”;  3 1/8” x 2 1/8”
• Pacific Point: 5” x 3 ¾”; 3 3/8” x 2 3/8”
• Basic White: 3” x 2”
• DSP: 3 ½” x 1 ½” (3)

Instructions:

1. Stamp sentiment using Pacific Point ink, in lower left corner of Basic White cardstock.
2. Stamp leaves in Granny Apple Green ink. Then, stamp blueberries in Pacific Point ink.
3. Color in the blueberries with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush—the pacific point ink will be pulled in by the glitter pen.
4. Assemble your card as shown. The small panel is attached to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The rest of the card is adhered using Stampin’ Seal.
5. Add three of the gems, using Mini Glue Dots. Add glue dots to your card, then use your Take Your Pick tool to pick up the gems—makes it easy to handle and place them just where you want them!

TIPS: The Gilded Leafing is packed tightly in the container and is super light so it can "float" around easily. Open the container carefully and consider storing the leafing in a larger storage container with a lid. This makes the leafing easier to use and also easier to return excess leafing once done.

CARD: Art Gallery

Measurements: 

• Basic Black: 4 1/4” x 11”            
• Whisper White: 3” x 3” (for punch) 5 1/4” x 4” (for inside panel)
• Designer Series Paper: 4” x 3” (2 pieces — one front, the other the reverse design)
• Silver Edge Ribbon: 10”

Instructions:

1. Score Basic Black card base at 5 1/2”
2. Color the floral side of one of the 3” x 4” piece of Designer Series Paper with the Stampin’ Blends as shown. Use the Light Soft Seafoam Blend to fill in the background.
3. Place the reverse side piece of the Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the card base.
4. Add 6” of ribbon to the colored panel and wrap around the back of the piece. With the remaining ribbon, tie a knot on the ribbon as shown; adhere to the top of the cards
5. Stamp a small sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set (or stamp set of choice) on the small oval; adhere to the larger oval with Seal. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back.
6. Add the the card.
7. Place the 4” x 5 1/4” piece of Whisper White to the inside.

CARD: Soar Confidently, Embossed!

Good morning!!  One of my favorite sets from the Jan-June Catalog is the "Soar Confidently" -- it's a great masculine set, and you can never have too many of those!  This image is a dirigible, and I love the detail!

I embossed the image with White embossing powder, onto Night of Navy Cardstock.  The designer paper is called "Well Suited" -- lots of great masculine colors and patterns!
