CARD: Tropical Oasis Fun Fold!

Here's another great card that I found on Pinterest!!  You can see the original card by Rachel HERE.  It's so nice to be able to find such great inspiration -- thanks to all the awesome artists out there that share with those of us that hit inspirational road blocks on a daily basis!!  haha!!

Measurements:

• Old Olive:  5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
• Whisper White:  4" x 10 1/2", scored at 5 1/4", 7 7/8";  8 1/2" x 2 3/4"--use this for your sentiment, palm trees and flower.
• DSP:  5 1/8" x 3 7/8";  3 7/8" x 2 1/2"

Instructions:

1. Stamp your sentiment and flower in Early Espresso ink.  Stamp palm trees using Stampin' Write Markers--color directly onto rubber, then stamp.  Colors used:  Old Olive & Early Espresso.
2. Color your flower image using Stampin' Blends.  Colors used:  Calypso Coral & Daffodil Delight
3. Punch out sentiment using the Everyday Label Punch.
4. Cut out flower and palm trees using a die cut machine and the In the Tropics Dies.
5. Assemble your card as shown. 

CARD: Thanks for the Laughs

Measurements:

• Purple Posy:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4";  2 3/8" x 1 3/8"
• Basic Black:  5 1/2" x 2 3/4"
• DSP:  5 1/2" x 2 5/8"
• Whisper White:  scrap for sentiment
• Black Ribbon:  5"

Instructions:

1. Stamp sentiment on Whisper White Cardstock, using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
2. Cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.
3. Adhere to small piece of Purple Posy cardstock.  Set aside.
4. Color in flowers on designer paper using Purple Posy Stampin' Blends (light)
5. Assemble card as shown.  Adhere sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals.

• Whisper White:  3" x 1 3/4"

Instructions:

1. Stamp image using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
2. Color using Stampin' Blends. Colors used: Pool Party & Petal Pink
3. Assemble card as shown.  HINT:  adhere the stamped image to vellum -- then turn over, and add adhesive to the vellum behind the whisper white piece.  You won't be able to see the adhesive through the vellum!

CARD: Sending You Thoughts

Good morning!  Here's another of the cards we made at our March Stamp Club!  I saw THIS CARD on Pinterest, and loved it!!  I changed the sentiment, as I didn't have the one Angela used.

Measurements:

• Night of Navy:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4";  1/2" x 3"
• Crumb Cake:  4" x 5 1/4";  scrap for circle
• Poppy Parade:  1/2" x 3 3/4"
• Crushed Curry:  1/2" x 3 1/2:
• Whisper White:  scrap for sentiment

Instructions:

1. Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy ink.
2. Stamp background using Crumb Cake ink.  
3. Cut out sentiment, and crumb cake circle, using the Layering Circles Dies.
4. Cut a banner tail in each of your 1/2 strips of cardstock.
5. Assemble your card as shown.  Hint:  adhere your 1/2 strips to the designer paper first -- if they aren't the exact length you want, you can trim the edges off!
6. The sentiment is adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals.
