CARD: Beautiful Day

Measurements:  

• Basic Black:            8 1/2” x 5 1/2”            
• Whisper White: 4 ¼” x 5 ½”   Inside 4” x 5 ¼”

Instructions:

1. Stamp Butterfly on large Post It Note or copy paper. Cut it out using your Paper snips part way inside of the line. It’s a bold line so I would say halfway into it. You want it smaller than the image by just a tad.
2. Stamp Center Butterfly in Black Memento Ink onto white mat. Lay the Post It butterfly over it (that is called masking) and stamp the butterfly on the left a little further down than the center one and the one on the right a little above the center butterfly and angled a bit.
3. Lift off the Post It Note Mask and you should have three butterflies but two that appear to be behind the middle one.
4. Color with the Blends
5. Using your Black Blend you can add Dots or marking to your Butterflies for interest.
6. Once done coloring cut out the bottom around the butterflies
7. Stamp Sentiment onto the top left of your image piece
8. Attach to the Black Card Base with Adhesive.

CARD: Forever Blossoms

Measurement:

• Whisper White Thick: 5 ½” x 8 1/2” scored at 4 ¼; 4” x 5 ¼”
• Cherry Cobbler: ½” x 4”
• Parisian Blossoms DSP: ½” x 4 – cut one of two different DSP Patterns

Instructions:

1. Stamp the large floral image onto the Whisper White panel with Cherry Cobbler ink.
2. Die cut this image with the Cherry Blossoms die.
3. Stamp the words onto front of card base with Cherry Cobbler ink.
4. Use Snail Adhesive to attach the thin strip of DSP and Cherry Cobbler cardstock, staggering their placement.
5. Attach the die cut floral image as shown in photo, with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
6. Tie a knot in a small length of the Petal Pink ribbon and attach with a glue dot.
7. To finish the card, adhere three Champagne Rhinestones to the center of each large flower.

CARD: Timeless Tropical

Good morning!  I wanted to share a card today that we made at my Stamp Club in February.  

I absolutely LOVE the Tropical Oasis Suite!  It's one of my favorite suites from the Occasions Catalog!  But, for some reason, I get a block anytime I sit down to stamp with it!  Luckily, others haven't had this problem! :-)  I CASE's this card from Marelle Taylor -- please check out her beautiful card HERE.

CARD: So Sentimental

Here's the card I made for our Club Swap in February!  

Measurements:

 Blushing Bride: 4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 5 ½”
 Pleased as Punch Designer Paper: 4” x 5 ¼”
 Whisper White: 2 ½” x 3” for diecut

Instructions:
1. Stamp sentiment on Whisper White cardstock, using Basic Gray ink.
2. Cut out using the Stitched so Sweetly dies. Set aside.
3. Punch 5 flowers from the Pleased As Punch Designer Paper. Set aside.
4. Adhere designer paper to Blushing Bride cardbase.
5. Add the sentiment, adhering using the Stampin’ Dimensionals.
6. Add flowers with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
7. Add a Rhinestone to each flower.

 

CARD: Little Ladybug

Good morning!!  Here's a sweet (and easy!) card for you!  I paired the Little Ladybug Host Stamp Set with the Follow My Heart Specialty Designer Paper.  (it's not just for Valentine's!)

Measurements:

• Whisper White Thick Cardbase:  4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
• From the Heart DSP:  5 1/4" x 4"
• Whisper White:  3 1/4" x 4 1/4" for framelit; scrap for ladybug
• 6" ribbon

Directions:

1. Fold your cardbase.  Adhere the Specialty paper to front.  Set aside.
2. Cut your scalloped rectangle out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
3. Stamp large flower, and sentiment of choice using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Color using Stampin' Blends (I used Granny Apple & Daffodil Delight)
4. Stamp ladybug on scrap.  Cut out using the Ladybug Dies.  
5. Color ladybug using Stampin' Blends. ( I used Real Red & Bronze)
6. Assemble card as shown.  I used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the ladybug.
7. Tie a knot in your ribbon, and attach using Mini Glue Dots.

CARD: Breathtaking Bouquet

Good morning!!  Had a great day yesterday -- took time in my stamp room!  Stamped for several hours -- pure bliss!  I often turn to Stamp Challenges for inspiration, and yesterday was no exception!  This card was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and the colors at Color Throwdown:

I stamped the image first, in Tuxedo Black ink, the cut out a square using the Layering Squares Dies.  I colored the cut out square using Stampin' Blends (Flirty Flamingo, Seaside Spray & Night of Navy).  The colored squared is attached using Stampin' Dimensionals.  

I'm really happy with the way it turned out!!!  Here are the challenges I used:
