Good morning!! My stamp club met last Sunday--each month, we meet and make six cards! Here's one of the ones we made for August:
This is a "Center Step Card" -- very easy to make, but not so easy to photograph! I couldn't seem to get an angle where there weren't shadows! But, you get the idea! I've got the cutting guide on my pinterest page: click HERE to see it!

These are so much fun to play with, and a little messy with the water -- so once they're out, you might as well make several cards! Here's one made for the CAS(e) this Sketch challenge:
This time around, I used the Shimmery White Cardstock for my "canvas". It doesn't work as well as the watercolor paper, but the extra sparkle sure adds alot to the card! For the "squigglies" at the bottom of the card, I used the Lakeside Dies. I backed it onto Daffodil Delight to really bring focus to the cut outs. The sentiment is from Animal Outing, and it's stamped in Melon Mambo.

After finishing all my prep "work" (so hard to call this work!!), I decided to spend a few minutes to play! These Pigment Sprinkles were at the top of my wish list when the current catalog was released in June. But, no time to play with them!! So, out they came yesterday, and WOW!! They are so bright and fun.............and EASY to use!!
I spritzed water all over the Watercolor Paper, then sprinkled the powders around! Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight were the colors of choice for this project! Once you moved your colors around (just tilt your cardstock from side to side!), then lay aside and let dry. I also blotted it with a paper towel, as I had been a bit generous with the water!
For the layout, I used the sketch from one of my favorite sites: Freshly Made Sketches:
I added a row of Rhinestones at the bottom for some added bling, as well as Wink of Stella on the cut out Sentiment -- can never have too much sparkle!!

I wanted to showcase one of the new In Colors: Purple Posy. Such a pretty, soft purple! I love it!! We stamped our dancer using Memento Ink, then colored her in with the Purple Posy Stampin' Blends.

I was determined to use the new Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock for my July club! I wanted them to see how beautiful it was! I have to admit -- I struggled a bit coming up with an idea! Here's what I finally settled on:

Another fun Stamp Club project! This set is really fun to create with, and having the coordinating dies & designer paper makes it super easy!! (even though I didn't use the dies on this card!!)
Colored using the Stampin' Blends -- boy, are these pretty! I'm not much of a "color-er", but it's so relaxing with the blends!! So smooth, and the colors are so vibrant! Yummy!!
