Bridge Fold Card

This card was ridiculously easy to make!   It's called a Bridge Fold -- it's great because it will lay flat to mail!

APRCLUB1

I used one of my favorites -- This Little Piggy, along with the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper.  I thought those looked like cow spots, just pink!

To make the card base, cut a piece of cardstock 8" x 4 1/4", then score at:  1 1/4", 2 1/2", 5 1/2" and 6 3/4".  Then you just fold as shown.  The "bridge" is 5 1/2" x 1 1/4".

Have fun with this!

Here are all the supplies I used on this card:

Fun Fold Card!!

One of the lovely ladies in my stamp club asked for a "fun fold" card at our April Meeting!  I did two -- here's the first one!  I'm not really sure what it's called, but it's really cool!  AND, you still get two cards out of one sheet of cardstock!

Here it is closed:

APRCLUB2

and now open:

APRCLUB2A

To make the card base, just score at 4 1/4" on the long side, and 5 1/2" on the short side.  Then cut in half, corner to corner!  Super simple!

Come back tomorrow for another fun fold!

Complete CASE!

I follow a lot of blogs -- I mean A LOT of them!!  One of my very favorites is Weeinklings -- Leanne is so talented!  I love all her work!  She posted this card, and I knew it would be perfect for my stamp club!  We're doing a couple of fun fold cards, and I really needed a clean and simple card to round things out!  My creativity was all used up, so I used Leanne's idea!  I did add a piece of Very Vanilla behind the designer paper, but other than that, it's a complete copy!  That's one of the many things I love about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator -- you don't have to do it all by yourself!
