Project Sheet Wednesday: Bloomin' Love

Measurements: 

• Blushing Bride 8 ½ ” x 5 ½ ”  
• Rose Red 3 ¾ x 4”
• Glimmer Paper ½” x 4 ¼”

Instructions:

1. Fold Blushing Bride cardstock in half to make card base.
2. Adhere Rose Red cardstock onto Blushing Bride
3. Adhere Glimmer Paper strip to bottom of Rose Red cardstock
4. Stamp sentiment in Rose Red ink
5. Using Bloomin’ Heart Thinlit, cut heart out of design of choice, using the DSP paper stack.
6. Using the 2 flower thinlits, cut flowers, 2 large and 3 small flowers with Blushing Bride cardstock.
7. Adhere heart to Rose Red cardstock using glue dots behind the 5 flowers.
8. Adhere the 5 flowers to heart using glue dots in the center.
9. Place pearls in center of flowers

Happy Birthday, Everyone!

I love this birthday sentiment!!  It's been on the wish list for quite awhile, and I was finally able to get it!  It's a hostess set in this year's catalog -- you can get it for as little as $9, if you host a workshop!  (or place a qualifying order!!).  I paired it with the new It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack -- I LOVE this paper!  So bright and cheery -- makes any card more fun!  Loved the hearts, and repeated them by using the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder on the white background!  Then, just for some sparkle, I added a punched star of dazzling diamonds glimmer paper!

Now to find someone to send it to.................any ideas?  Leave me a comment!!

WWYS #48: Bloomin' Love

Welcome to another week of What Will You Stamp?! This week, we were challenged to use the Bloomin' Love Stamp Set.  This is such a gorgeous stamp set, especially paired with the Bloomin' Heart Thinlit Dies!!  And, it's versatile enough to use after Valentine's Day, too!

Sky is the Limit!!

Measurements:

• Very Vanilla Card Base: 5.5” x 8.5”, scored and folded in half, 1.25” x 4.25”, scrap
• Crumb Cake cardstock: 4” x 5.25”

Instructions:

1. Emboss the Crumb Cake cardstock and attach it to the Very Vanilla card base.
2. Stamp the plane onto the Very Vanilla scrap. Cut it out and attach it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
3. Stamp the greeting onto the Very Vanilla strip of cardstock - toward the right edge.
4. Use the Banner Triple punch on the left side of the Very Vanilla cardstock
5. Do this two more times to get the extra two pieces - I turn the punch upside down at the point.
6. Use the 1/16” circle punch to put a hole in the Very Vanilla cardstock to the left of the greeting and insert the Silver Mini Brad.
7. Attach the three banner pieces to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

What I Love

Measurement:

Card Base: 4 ¼” x 5 ½ “

Whisper White: 3” x 5 ¼ “

Instructions:

• Stamp flowers with Rose Red, stamping off for solid stamps and using full strength ink for the outline stamp.

• Ink dot image with Soft Suede and stamp centre of each flower.

• Stamp leaves using Garden Green and Mossy Meadow. Use blender pen to pull in colour.

• Ink small flower from set using Island Indigo and stamp to fill in spaces; use blender pen to pull in the colour.

• Use Island Indigo to ink up “Thank You” stamp and stamp sentiment.

• Sponge Whisper White piece with Rose Red. Set aside.

• Run Mossy Meadow card base through Big Shot with Woodgrain embossing folder.

• Adhere stamped Whisper White piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

• Place large rhinestones in centre of big flowers. Colour rhinestone with Wink of Stella Gold Pen. Add smaller rhinestones to small blue flowers.

 

 

1. Wrap White Bakers Twine around bottom of card and tie into bow to finish. Secure with glue dot.

Project Sheet Wednesday: Hello!

Measurement:

• Whisper White CS 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”

• Whisper White CS 2-1/2” x 3-1/2”

• It’s My Party DSP: 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”(balloons) and 2-1/2” x 4-1/4”(yellow pattern)

 Instructions:

1. Fold the Whisper White CS in half to create the card base.
2. Layer the It’s My Party DSP onto the Whisper White cardstock as shown above.
3. Stamp “Hello” in Basic Black ink in the center of the Whisper White cardstock.      
4. Stamp the “birthday girl” and party hat in Melon Mambo ink directly above and below the sentiment.
5. Adhere the stamped Whisper White panel to the front of the card.
6. Add 2 strips of washi tape to the Whisper White panel.

Welcome to another week of What Will You Stamp?! This week, we were challenged to use the Sky is the Limit stamp set. This is, by far, my favorite Sale-a-bration set!  Masculine, aviation-related -- and, you can use it for graduation cards, too!!  So versatile!  

I've seen alot of projects using the browns, blacks, etc, but I wanted to try something bright!  So, I used Real Red and Tempting Turquoise -- even added some bling with the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper!  I love it!!

Nacho Average Blog Hop: Sale-a-bration Edition!!

Good morning!!  and WELCOME!!  We're so happy you've joined us today for our first ever Nacho Blog Hop!  We're all very excited about our new venture, and hope you all enjoy it!  Please be sure to leave us a comment -- we love to hear from you!  And, if you want to play along, head over to the Nacho Blog, and leave your link there!

Each of the blogs on our hop will feature a different stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration Brochure.  I chose the "Sky is the Limit" set -- love the airplane!  My husband works in the aviation field, so this set is perfect for us!  For both cards, I tried to use the same supplies -- to show you the versatility!  Here ya go:

 

I love the pop of red in the heart and layer of red cardstock!  The designer paper is from the Occasions Catalog, and is called  Going Places.  I thought this piece looked like a neighborhood, viewed from the sky!   Here's the inside:

 

I repeated the pretty red heart trail, and added the fun sentiment!

For the second card, I used a fun fold -- cut your cardstock to 4 1/4" x 11", then score at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4" -- so simple!!

 

I used another sheet from the same designer series paper stack, Going Places.  This one reminded me of the mountaintops!

Bloomin' Love

Measurements:

• Whisper White Thick Cardstock Card Base: 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, folded in half to measure 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”
• Whisper White: small scrap for xoxo flag (finished size 1 ½” x ¼”)
• Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper: 4” x ½”
• Rose Red layer: 4” x 5 ¼”
• Designer Paper: 4” x 4”

 Instructions:

• Fold the piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock in half, creating a card base of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”.
• Adhere the Rose Red layer to card base using SNAIL Adhesive
• Using Big Shot, Designer Series Paper and large heart thinlit die, cut out heart and adhere to card using Fine-Tip Glue Pen. 
• Stamp “xoxo” on small Whisper White piece and “flag” the right end. “Flag” both ends of glimmer piece and adhere to top of cut out heart. Adhere small “xoxo” to left end of glimmer piece and attach small wooden heart from Embellishment Kit to top using Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
• Ink the “LOVE YOU” stamp with Basic Grey ink and stamp on the bottom left of card.
• Attach 3 small pink enamel glitter dots below “LOVE YOU”.
