Good morning!!  Hope you're having a wonderful summer so far!  I can't believe this is the last day of June!!  It's really flying by!  But, we're enjoying all the time with the boys -- soon they'll both be off to college!  yikes!

Anyhow, it's Tuesday, and you know what that means!  A new challenge from the Nachos!  A great color combination today:

Garden in Bloom Project Sheet

Measurements: 

• Pink Pirouette 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2
• Very Vanilla 2-1/2 x 4
• Basic Black 2-3/4 x 4

 Instructions:

 

1. Stamp flowers (Pink Pirouette), butterflies (Pool Party) and leaves (Pear Pizzazz) on Very Vanilla layer
2. Outline images with Black Stampin’ Write Marker - don’t forget the dots in the space between the images - “fill up the white space”
3. Adhere Vanilla layer to Black layer and wrap with Baker’s Twine three times - tie in a bow
4. Stamp greeting in Black ink and butterfly outline in Pink Pirouette ink as shown
5. Adhere stamped/doodle layer with Dimensionals

Nacho Average Challenge #147

Happy Tuesday!!  I'm so excited -- I'm going to dinner with two of my very special friends tonight!  They both have June birthdays, so we're going to celebrate!  

Tuesday also means a new Nacho Average Challenge!!  This week is a sketch challenge:

I went with a standard 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card, rather than square:

I stamped the Swallowtail with Black Stazon ink, and then "colored" with sponge daubers!  Love the bright colors!!!

Gift from the Garden Project Sheet

Measurement:

• Thick Whisper White CS 5 ½ x 8 ½
• Whisper White Image Piece 2 ¼ x 3 7/8
• Bermuda Bay Strip ½ x 5 ½
• Scrap of white for the shovel

 Instructions:

1. Ink up the stamp with Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Rich Razzleberry for the Pots using your markers
2. Ink the leaves using Old Olive for the two end pots of greenery and a bit of Pumpkin Pie for the little flowers.
3. Huff (Heavy Breathing on Stamp) to activate the ink and make it moist again.
4. Stamp on Image piece immediately
5. Attach glue dots on both ends of the Bermuda Bay Strip and attach Linen Thread by wrapping around three times. Then attach to the front of the card with glue dots.
6. Attach the image piece using dimensionals and the cut out shovel using glue dots to the front of the card.

You're Sublime!

Measurement:

• Pacific Point: 5.5”x 8.5”
• Whisper White: 5.25”x4”

Instructions:

1. Cut the Pacific Point card base and then the Whisper White.
2. Ink up the Watercolor Wash background stamp with some Soft Sky ink and a bit of Pacific Point as well with a Stampin’ Write marker (from the Brights Stampin’ Write Marker pack). Spray the inked up stamp with a light mist of water before stamping it onto the Whisper White layer. 
3. Stamp the little submarine from You’re Sublime in Tuxedo Black ink and color it with a Smoky Slate marker from the Neutrals Stampin’ Write marker pack
4. Add some color with a Real Red Stampin’ Write marker on the hearts and Pumpkin Pie marker on the fishes.
5. Before adhering the Whisper White layer to the card base, wrap some of the Silver Metallic Thread onto it and use some Tear & Tape to secure it to the back of the layer and adhere it to the card.
6. Add some Rhinestone Basics Jewels to add some 'bubbles' coming from the sub
7. 7.    Then added some of the NEW White Perfect Accents to the submarine windows for some shiny little submarine windows
