Nacho Average Challenge #139

Good morning!  We have a cool sketch for you today!  Be sure and check out the Nacho Blog for more inspiration!

and, here's my card:

I used two items that are retiring:  Starburst Sayings stamp set and the coordinating Starburst Framelits.  I really love both of these, and sure will miss them!!  Be sure and get yours soon!!!

Retiring............

Some of the sets on the retiring list are on my list of favorites!  Blooming with Kindness is one of those.  I'll really miss this one!  Here's a fun and simple card using it:

Measurements: 

• Whisper White 4 x 5-1/4, 4 x 2-1/4 & scraps
• Basic Black 4-1/8 x 2-3/8
• Basic Gray 5-1/2 x 8-1/2

 Instructions:

1.  Stamp large white layer with Flower and Basic Gray ink - adhere to card front
2. Stamp greeting with Tuxedo Black ink on small white layer
3. Adhere to Cherry Cobbler layer and then Basic Black layer
4. Stamp Flower with Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White scrap and cut out
5. Adhere flower to card front with Dimensionals
6. Add Rhinestones under greeting where shown

Freshly Made Sketches #183

Happy weekend everyone!!  I made this card last week, but was just able to take pictures this morning!  We had a shoebox swap with the Nacho Average Stampers last night, and this was my card.  I used the Freshly Made Sketches sketch for inspiration:

Here's the sketch:

I combined the two stripes at the bottom -- just by layering the two strips of ribbon.  I love the lace!!

Vivid Vases

Measurements:

• Basic Gray Card Base 4 ¼ x 11
• So Saffron Mat 3 7/8 x 5 1/8
• White Mat 3 ¾ x 5, white inside mat 4 x 5 ¼
• Scraps of white and saffron for saying
• 4 x 4 white for circle

 Instructions:

1. Stamp Vase Image on 4x4 in Black Memento Ink and color with markers, cut out with Circle Framelit
2. Ink up the Dictionary Stamp and lay the mat on top of it. Gently tap with fingers to get a uneven impression
3. Attach the Dictionary mat to the Saffron Mat and attach to card front
4. Attach Circle to the left Center with Dimensionals.
5. Stamp the saying on the scrap of white and cut into a thin strip and flag. Attach to a strip of Saffron and cut around leaving a slight edge. Attach to card with a dimensional on the left side and tape on the center so it’s even.
6. Stamp edge of insert piece with the dictionary Stamp and tape to inside. Add a small strip of Saffron with Adhesive.
