Nacho Average Challenge #134

So, it's Tuesday again, and it seems as this is the only day I post anymore!! :-)  So sorry--life has just gotten busy, and I don't spend as much time on the computer as I used to!  I do post pretty regularly on my Facebook page, so be sure and check that out!

Now, on to the important stuff -- the Nacho Challenge for this week:

Such warm, cheery colors!!  So spring-like!!!  Here's my card:

I used the "Something Lacy" background stamp -- stamped it twice, and then punched out 3 circles from one of the images.  I colors the circles, then adhered them to the non-colored image!  My own little version of the spotlight technique!

Cheerful Critters

  • Melon Mambo: 5.5”x8.5”
  • Whisper White: 5”x3.75”, plus some for die cutting

  1. Cut card base from Melon Mambo, cut base layer from Whisper White
  2. Emboss Whisper White with Happy Heart embossing folder, then stamp ‘heart’ stamp from Best Day ever inside random embossed hearts; adhere to card base
  3. Stamp bunny from Cheerful Critters and sentiment on Whisper White; use Oval Framelit to die cut
  4. Die cut Bermuda Bay washi sheet with the next size oval to mat the stamped Whisper White oval
  5. Color the bunny stamped image using Markers
  6. Trim the bottom of both ovals where the stamped image ends
  7. Adhere the washi oval and stamped oval on to the embossed base layer
  8. Cut a small section of Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim to create a little belt for the bunny’s outfit

This also works for this week's "Just Us Girls" challenge:
