Unscripted Sketches #248
March 15, 2014
Good morning!!! We have a big day planned today! Some sad (oldest son is returning to college after spring break) and some fun (youngest son has a tennis match--love watching!). But, before all that, I want to share the sketch from Unscripted Sketches:
I made a card, but wouldn't this make a really cool scrapbook page?!!! For my colors, I used the combination found on the Colour Me Blog:
I think they worked well with my checkerboard pattern:
I tried to keep the card simple, and let the checkerboard be the "focal point"! I think I'll send this one off to my college kid--I really do miss him already!
Here are the supplies used for this card:
- Just Sayin' Stamp Set (133200w or 133203c)
- Midnight Muse Classic Ink (
- Sahara Sand Cardstock
- Midnight Muse Cardstock
- Tangerine Tango Cardstock
- Big Shot (113439)
- Chevron Embossing Folder
- Word Bubbles Framelits (132968)
- Paper Piercing Tool (126189)
- Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack (126187)
- Stampin' Pierce Mat (126199)
Oh what a clever design!!! Thank you so much for sharing with us this week at Colour Me...! We sure hope to see you around again soon!!!
