Dynamic Duos #41

Good morning!  I have been working really hard this week to prepare for classes and workshops this weekend!  Sometimes it's really hard to come up with new ideas, so I often turn to challenges to help me out!  This card uses this color challenge from the Dynamic Duos:

The idea for the cut out and layering came from our company newsletter, the Stampin' Success.

Ccmar5

The card base and front layer are both Pool Party, and the designer paper is from the Fan Fair collection.  I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Perfect Punches stamp set, and then punched with the XL Oval punch.  The banner is Island Indigo--the ends are cut using the 1" square punch!

Nacho Average Challenge #35

Good morning, and welcome to another fun sketch challenge from the Nacho Average Challenges!!

Nac35

Pretty simple sketch, and I also kept my card very simple:

Ccmarch2

The card base is Crumb Cake, and the banner is the Primrose Petals Core'dinations paper.  I embossed it with my Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, then ran my sanding block lightly over the raised areas!  Super Simple!  The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set, and is stamped in Primrose Petals ink.

Have a GREAT day!!!
