Happy Halloween!!

Okay, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY, too!!  Sorry, no cute halloween project today!  Poor planning on my part!!  LOL!  Here's another card we made in clubs this month!  I used "A Fitting Occasion" stamp set for this card!  I've had the set for awhile, but hadn't used it!  Not sure why--it's so stinkin' cute!!

For the yellow strip, we used two post-it notes and masked it!  Just sponge, then stamp!  Very easy!

Supplies used:

A Fitting Occasion

Ink:  Real Red, Daffodil Delight & Pacific Point

Cardstock:  Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point & Whisper White

Misc:  1" & 1 1/4" Circle Punches;  Pacific Point Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon

Have a GREAT day!!

Just Cards "Buffet" November -- Tuesday, Nov 13 @ 6pm!

Nacho Average Challenge #18

Good morning!  First, I want to offer up prayers for any and all affected by Hurricane Sandy.  We've been glued to the TV--watching in amazement at the damage.  What an awful storm.

Today's Nacho Challenge is a great color combo:

Nac18color

Aren't they pretty!?  A nice fall combination, but not your normal fall!!  Here's what I came up with:

Nac18tammy

I used the popular Triple Time Stamping technique for this card!  The stamp set is Gently Falling, and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes!  Other than that--just cardstock and inks in the challenge colors!

Have a wonderful day, and be sure to check out the design team's cards HERE!

What do you think of this sketch?!!  I have really jumped on the "banner" bandwagon--they are so much fun to work with!  Why not try your hand at them!  Then, share you link with us on the SFF BLOG!!

Here's my card:

It's pretty bright!!  And, aren't you surprised that it's not a Christmas card?!!  Although, you could make this same card but use snowflakes instead!!!  Here's what I used:

Stamps:  Circle Circus & Itty Bitty Banners

Cardstock:  Pacific Point & Whisper White

Ink:  Melon Mambo, Pacific Point & Tangerine Tango

Misc:  1 3/8" Square Punch (to make the tails);  Big Shot and Bitty Banners Framelits;  Jewel Rhinestones

Have a GREAT day!!!  Don't forget--you can see the team's card HERE!!

A manly card!

This was another card we made at my card clubs this month!  I really like the way it turned out!  I started with the Early Espresso Core'dinations cardstock--it is embossed using the Houndstooth embossing folder, then distressed with my sanding blocks!  Oops--wait--first, adhere your three strips of designer paper (from the Festival of Prints) BEFORE you emboss!!  Silly me!  But, don't you love the added texture on the designer paper?!!  For the main image, I used the Daring Adventure Stamp Set.  I found it easiest to stamp the sentiment, then cut out using the Labels Framelits and Big Shot.  After it's cut out, I added the other stamped elements, then sponged Island Indigo along the edges!

Have a GREAT day!!
