When I first saw it, I thought "Christmas", but I ended up going in an entirely different direction:

I also used the Color Throwdown combination:

I had to substitue Island Indigo for the Bermuda Bay, as I don't have that color.

Delicate Doilies Stamp Set

Ink:  Black Stazon, Illuminate Glimmer Pad;  Island Indigo, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip & Certainly Celery Stampin' Write Markers

Inspiration Challenge!

Hi!  I've recently joined another design team over at the UDI Blog!  As you know, I do the sketch challenge each Saturday!  Now, I'm doing an inspiration challenge on Thursdays!  This team has just started up again, and we're all very excited to be doing it!  I hope you'll join us on these challenges!

Here is your inspiration:

My first thought was Christmas--you know, poinsettias!  But, I went in a totally different direction:

Divain#151

I used the colors in the photo for my inspiration!

Supplies used:

Betsy's Blossoms & Sassy Salutations Stamp Sets

Cardstock:  Primrose Petals, Gumball Green and Whisper White

Ink:  Primrose Petals & Gumball Green Classic Pads

Misc:  Apothecary Accents Framelits & Big Shot;  Primrose Petals & Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon;  Stampin' Sponges

Have a GREAT day!

CLASS SCHEDULE!

Dynamic Duos #20

I finally got my card done in time for the Dynamic Duos!!  I just love their combinations, and use them every week--I just don't always get them posted in time.  This week's was fun:

I even opted for the "dessert", and used the Halloween theme:

Dd#20

I strted with the Toxic Treats Stamp Set--I really like this witch image!  She's stamped in Black Stazon ink, onto Glossy White cardstock.  Then, I sponged on some Lucky Limeade ink with a sponge dauber.  The image was cut out using the Labels Framelits and my Big Shot, and layered onto a black piece cut out with the next size up!  For the banners behind, I cute strips of Lucky Limeade 3/4" thick, and layered them onto more Basic Black.  Don't look too close at my tails--they're a bit off!  It's hard to get them to match when you're layering! LOL!!

For the background, I took my sponge dauber and just "stamped" spots all over!  Cute, huh?!!

Have a GREAT day!!!

Check out my CLASS SCHEDULE!!

the Paper Players Challenge!

Good morning!  I stamped for fun!  This week's challenge at the Paper Players was to create a card using banners.  Oh, and it's supposed to clean and simple--that's never a problem for me!!

So, here's what I came up with:

Pp113

I used the Moving Forward Stamp Set.  This is the Ronald McDonald set for this catalog, and Stampin' Up! will donate $3 for each set sold to the Ronald McDonald House Charities!  Great cause!!!

Other items used:

Cardstock:  Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White;  Polka Dot Parade Designer Paper

Ink:  Rich Razzleberry Classic pad;  Old Olive & Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers

Misc:  1 1/4" square punch (for banners);  2 1/2" Circle Punch; Floral Frames Framelits and Big Shot

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!

Nacho Average Challenge #12

Good morning!!  Today's challenge is a color challenge!

Nac12color

What do you think of these colors?  I was stumped at first, but then I thought of snowflakes!  Why not?!?  So, here's what I came up with:

Nac12tammy

I used the Snowflake Soiree and Loving Thoughts Stamp Sets.  VERY simple card--stamped the snowflakes in the three colors, then added the banner with my sentiment!  Easy peasy!  Hope you like it!

Please hop on over to the Nacho Challenge Blog and check out the design team's work!  Then, play along with us!!  Can't wait to see what you do with these colors!!

Divas Sketch Challenge #206

Good morning!!  Here's our sketch for today:

Divasc206sketch

and my card:

Divasc206

I used the Gently Falling Stamp Set and the colors from the Dynamic Duos #19 : Cajun Craze and Always Artichoke!  Very simple card--just stamping and layering!!  Oh, and I added a strip of Crochet Trim--just looked too plain without it!!

Be sure you check out our Design Team HERE!!

Have a GREAT day!  We're headed out to a baseball double-header!!

Sketch Frenzy Friday!

Good morning, and welcome to another Sketch Frenzy Blog Hop!!  Our sketch was designed by Jennifer:

I flipped the sketch on it's side:

Sff091412

I used the color challenge from Pals Paper Arts (#142), but I was late with my entry!!

For the main image, stamped in Black Stazon ink on Glossy Paper.  Then I used sponge daubers to apply my three colors of ink--pretty cool, huh?!!  I cut it out using my Big Shot and Labels Framelits--love that these coordinate with so many stamp sets!!!

Okay, time to head on over to your next stop on the hop:  the HOMEPAGE!!  Be sure you play along with us this week!

Snowflake Soiree!
