Sketch Frenzy Friday!
August 31, 2012
Happy Friday!!! As you know, Friday means it's time for the Sketch Frenzy Friday Sketch Challenge!! I hope you'll play along with us!! Here's our sketch, brought to you by ME!! :-)
and my card:
I used some fun Halloween design paper, Howlstooth & Scaringbone! But, honestly, it's not really "halloween-y"--meaning you could use this paper for anything else, too!! All the patterns are plaids or stripes or chevrons! I think this paper would be perfect for some of those masculine cards we all struggle with! But, because of the colors, it does make great Halloween cards, too!
My sentiment is from the Delightful Dozen Stamp Set--love it! It's got all the major holidays covered, all in one stamp set!! I stamped it in Black Stazon Ink, then punched out with the Modern Label punch.
Just FYI, the black squares are 2 1/2", and the designer paper is 2 3/8"! I've had several people ask!
Hope you like it!! Now, head on over to the homepage!!
Cute, cute, cute!! Love the simplicity of this! Just a little greeting highlighted by a few punches! Genius!! And great sketch this week, too! Have a super day!!

I agree with you about the designer paper. I love it as well, and you have used it nicely in your card.

First off, this IS a great sketch! I had fun creating with it! Second, I too love this DSP. I have always liked that color combination it reminds me that Fall is just around the corner. The little pumpkin on the sentiment cracked me up!

The colors say Halloween, but I love that the card is not Halloween!
