Stamping 411 "Blast from the Past"!

I've got another Blast from the Past for you today!  What is a "Blast from the Past"?  It's a fun post where I use a sketch from the past and create a scrapbook page!!  I used the Saturday Sketch #112 today:

And, my scrapbook page:

I'm trying to catch up with all my scrapbooking--this is the 2002 Bermuda Cruise with Stampin' Up!  So, I'm only 10 years behind!! :-)  My two best friends went with me, and we had a GREAT time!!  Here are the supplies I used:

Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set;  Bashful Blue, Night of Navy and Whisper White cardstock.  Scallop Edge Punch and Boho Blossom Punch.  I also used the Night of Navy Stampin' Write marker for the journaling and title.  Very simple, but that's the way I like to scrapbook--the photos should be the focal point!

Divas Sketch Challenge #194

Good morning!!  This will be a quick post--I have a fun event this morning, and there are some last minute preparations that need to be attended to!!  I'm treating my downline to a "Diva Day"!  A day of stamping, just for them!!  I'm so excited!!

But, it's Saturday, and I have a fun sketch and card to share with you for the Divas' Sketch Challenge:

Divasc194sketch

The sketch is by Elizabeth--she drew all of our June sketches--thanks so much!!!  They were alot of fun!  Here's my card:

Divasc194

The card base is Whisper White, followed by a layer of Pacific Point--I ran that through the Big Shot with our new Chevron embossing folder!  The main image was stamped in Pacific Point, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie (I used my Stampin' Write markers to "color" the stamp).  It's from the Delightful Dozen Stamp Set.  The designer paper is all from the Brights Pattern Stack, and I finished it off with some Real Red Stitched Grosgrain!  Easy Peasy!  (again!)  Hope you enjoy it!

Be sure to hop over to the UDI Blog to see the rest of the team's designs!!

Have a GREAT day!

Supplies used:

Black Stazon;  Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler Classic Inks

Have a GREAT day!!

Sketch Frenzy Friday!

Hi!!  We have a wonderful sketch for your today (from Angela!):

Sff062212sketch

So simple--so much room for creativity!!!  Here's what I came up with:

Sff062212

I used the Blossom Punch and punched through the Whisper White cardstock.  I put a piece of the Summer Smooches Designer Paper behind the punched image, then layered that onto Real Red cardstock, then onto a whisper white card base!  The button is from the Brights collection, and has White Baker's Twine tied through it!

For the sentiment, I thought I was being a genius!  I used the words from Memorable Moments--the "happy" and the "birthday" are separate stamps.  So, I put them both on a block, so I could stamp them at the same time--to make sure I got them straight!!  Well, it helps if you put them on the block straight!!!  Oh well, so my Happy is a little crooked--still the thought that counts, right?!!  (actually, I didn't even notice until I was doing this post, and it's too late to re-do it!)

So, I hope you like my sweet and simple card!  I can't wait to see what the rest of the design team did with this sketch!  Hope on over to the Homepage to continue your tour!

Why not play along with us?!!  Upload your card to a gallery or your own blog, then leave your link on the Sketch Frenzy Blog!!

Have a GREAT day!!
