Divas Sketch Challenge #189

Happy Saturday!  Today's sketch is brought to you by ME!  I hope you'll give it a go!

Divasc189sketch

Here's my card:

Divasc189

I wanted to use some of the retiring In Colors--so I started with Poppy Parade, and checked my Color Coach for coordinating colors!  It suggested a combo of Poppy Parade, Not Quite Navy and Sahara Sand!  The stamp set is Vintage Vogue--such a pretty set!  It is retiring, so you only have until May 31 to get yours!

I used the Sahara Sand sheet of Designer Paper (from the neutrals stack).  Then added a scalloped edge!  The ribbon is Poppy Parade 1/2" Stitched Poly Ribbon (also retiring).  The rest is pretty simple!

Check out the rest of the design teams' cards HERE!

Enjoy your weekend!  Don't forget to stamp a little!

Saturday Sketch Challenge!

Good afternoon!!!  I hope you're all having a great day!  It's pretty quiet around here, which is very unusual!  I'm enjoying it!

I loved today's sketch!  You can see the measurements and the operators' creations on the Stamping 411 Blog!

And, my creation:

Ssc256

A very simple card, but fun!  I love this designer paper--it's so bright and cheery!  And, I just realized that it's no longer available!!!  I'm sorry!  The sentiment is from Perfectly Penned--it's one of my favorite word sets!  I used the Boho Blossom Punch to create the embellishment!  And, colors used are Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Daffodil Delight!  Hope you like it!!!

Be sure to play along with us!  Leave your link on the Stamping 411 Blog!  I can't wait to see what you come up with!!!

Sketch Frenzy Friday!

Good morning!  I'm so happy to be back on track!  My computer is back, and working wonderfully.  The Baseball banquet is over and done with, so now I get to stamp!!!  Well, actually, I have to clean out my stamp studio first!  I'm getting all my retiring sets out and priced for my garage sale!  It will be June 9 at 9am!  Come and get some great deals!!

Okay, now on to our fun sketch this morning!!  This week's sketch creator is Patrice:

I love it--very simple, with lots of room for embellishment!

Sff051812

Okay, so my card is nice and simple, too!  No embellishments!  LOL!!  I used an old favorite--Circle Circus!  Haven't used this set in quite awhile, but it worked perfectly with the sketch panels!  The colors I used are Peach Parfait, Pear PIzzazz and Concord Crush!  I love this color combo, and will sure miss using it after May 31st!

Hope you all have a great day!  Be sure and head over to Tina's blog to see what she's done with the sketch!!

Saturday Sketch Challenge #255

The operators over at the Stamping 411 blog have another great sketch for us today:

Ssc255sketch

and look at me--I followed the sketch almost completely:

Ssc255

This is the Upsy Daisy stamp set--another that is retiring soon!  It's so pretty, and so easy to use!  To get the multi-color effect, I simply inked up the stamp with my Pear Pizzazz ink pad.  Then, I used a sponge dauber to apply Concord Crush ink to the flowers!  Doesn't it look pretty?  These are two of my favorite In-Colors--I sure will miss them after June 1!!!

Supplies used:

Upsy Daisy Stamp Set

Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz and Concord Crush cardstock;  In-Color Patterns Paper

Pear Pizzazz and Concord Crush Classic Ink Pads

Pear Pizzazz ribbon

Big Shot and Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder

Concord Crush Glimmer Brads

Please join us!!  Then, leave your link on the Stamping 411 Blog so we can all see your beautiful work!!
