Paper Player's Challenge!

Look at me!  Two posts in one day!!  Are you impressed?  haha!!

I had a few extra minutes this morning before I had to get moving, so I pulled out the Paper Player's Color challenge:

Colour Challenges

I had also received a new stamp set yesterday--Up, Up and Away!!  So, I wanted to use it!  Here in Albuquerque, we have a HUGE Balloon Fiesta each October--it's the largest in the world, and the most photographed event in the world!  So, of course, when I saw this stamp set, I had to have it!!

Love the balloons!!  I used the three colors from teh challenge, along with Black.  I love the way this turned out!!!  Here's an up close view of the ribbon:

It's actually three separate pieces of ribbon, just layered!  Then, I used my Curly Label Punch for the sentiment!

Hope you like it!!!

Here are your measurements (very simple today!):

Regal Rose:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

Rose Red:  5 1/4" x 4"

Basic Black:  5 1/8" x 3 7/8"

Whisper White:  5" x 3 3/4", plus scrap for sentiment!!

Have a GREAT day!!!

Totally cute card - love all the pink balloons - can you imagine seeing them in the sky - Wicked. Also - I like how you placed the punch on top of the ribbon - cool idea.

This is the first card that has really made me want this set!! Great job! I started blogging again and then started back to work at a new school in a new district and quickly fell off the wagon. I need to get some posted lined up to be ready to autopost!

Tammy, this is a fabulous card. I love your masking technique. It really does remind me of a balloon fest. A fabulous feminine balloon fest:-) So glad you shared your creation with the Paper Players again this week.
