Another challenge!!!

Hi!!  Yes, it's another challenge card!! :-)  This time, I used a sketch from the Stamping 411 blog (it was a week late, but I really liked the sketch!!), and the color combo over at Picture Perfect Creations!

and, my card:

WOW!!  I really love these colors!!  I wasn't sure about them when I saw the challenge--but, isn't that what a challenge is for--to make you think outside your box?!!  I'm so glad I did!!

I used the brand new stamp set, Delicate Doilies (available tomorrow!!!), and stamped them randomly over the white cardstock in Poppy Parade and Basic Gray ink.  I also did this on a piece of scrap white--for the butterflies!  I used the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and my Big Shot to cut out the butterflies in Poppy Parade Basic Gray and the stamped scrap.  The butterflies are layered for some added texture!  This was a fun card to make, and I really love it!!

Have a wonderful day!!

Friday Mashup #12

Good morning!!  I am having so much fun stamping these days!!   I finished my last class for the month last Saturday, so I've just been stamping for no reason!! :-)  I've had alot of challenges that I've wanted to enter, and this week I'm doing all that I can!  This morning's card is for the Friday Mashup!  I did both--the sketch and the color challenge!!

and, here' s my creation:

Aren't these colors beautiful together?!!  I used the Baroque Motif Stamp Set (one of my all-time favs!!), and More Mustard and Cherry Cobbler.  I think these would be great Christmas colors!!  The designer paper is from the Regals Paper Stack.  Other items used:  Modern Label Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Rhinestones, and a stamping sponge (for the edges of the sentiment).  Hope you like it!!

Have a GREAT day!!!

Just Add Ink Sketch Fun!

Happy Tuesday!!  Here's another challenge card for you!  This one is for the sketch over at Just Add Ink!

I used one of our new punches (available FRIDAY!!!)--the Lace Ribbon Border Punch!  Isn't is gorgeous?!!  I am having so much fun with it!

Justaddink

The card is very simple--I only used two colors:  Pretty in Pink and Very Vanilla!  It makes for a sweet, calming card, don't you think?!!  Oops--I did also use Black Stazon for the sentiment!

Supplies used:  Perfect Words Hostess Set, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Pretty in Pink 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain, Chantilly Crochet Trim, Scallop Oval and Large Oval Punches;  Very Vanilla and Pretty in Pink cardstock and Black Stazon ink.

Have a wonderful day!!!

Two Challenges!

Good morning!  Did you all have a wonderful weekend?  We sure did--nothing exciting, just alot of relaxing!  It was really hot here, so spent some time in the pool.  Also got alot done in my stamp studio--cleaning out the old to make room for the new!!  I can't wait for you to see the new catalog!!  Many, many fun, new toys!!

Enough chit chat--let's get on to the card for today!!  I used two challenges for this card:  the sketch challenge at The Paper Players,

Challenge_53
and the color challenge from CR84FN!

and, my card:

I'm really happy with the way it turned out!!  For the three panels, I stamped a different image from Flower Fest--using Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Lucky Limeade (a new In Color!!!), then layered them onto the coordinating cardstock (same colors).  For the main flower, I stamped it twice on a scrap of Whisper White--once in Tempting Turquoise, punched out with the Fancy Flower punch;  then once in Daffodil Delight.  I cut out just the center part of the Daffodil Delight flower, added a Tempting Turquoise brad, then adhered it to the Turquoise flower using a Stampin' Dimensional. I layered the flower onto a piece of Daffodil Delight that I had punched with the same Fancy Flower punch.  The sentiment is from the hostess set in the Summer Mini, Swirls & Curls Verses.  I stamped in Black Stazon, then colored the balloons with Tempting Turquoise and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write markers.  It looked a bit plain, so I added a row of Rhinestones for some sparkle!

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!!

Sff062411
I used two new sets (only one more week until the NEW catalog goes live!!), Delicate Doilies and Perfect Words.  colors are Tangerine Tango, Baja Breeze and Daffodil Delight!  I used the 2 1/2" Circle Punch for the center image, and the Modern Label Punch for the sentiment.  What do you think?

Now, time to check out Tina's Blog!  Enjoy the hop!!!

More embossing fun!

Emb1
This is a fun and simple card using our new Tangering Tango and Wild Wasabi embossing powders!!  I love the colored powders--they are so much fun to work with!!

Supplies used:

Flower Fest and It's Your Birthday Stamp Sets

Colors:  Wild Wasabi, Naturals White Cardstock;  Wild Wasabi, Black Stazon & Versamark inks.

Have a GREAT day!!

Emboss Resist

I used one of my favorite stamps for this card, Medallion:

Emb2

I embossed it with White embossing powder, then used my sponge daubers to sponge color all over it!  Once the ink was dry, use a tissue and wipe off the embossed image!  The ink won't "stick" to the embossing, so it wipes right off!!

Supplies used:

Medallion and Curly Cute Stamp Set

Versarmark;  Old Olive, Rose Red and Concord Crush Classic inks and cardstock

White embossing powder, heat tool

Have a GREAT day!!!

Check out my "Buy 2, get 1 Free" special!!!

Flower Garden Birthday!

Dryemb

Good morning!!  I'm happy to share a really pretty and VERY simple birthday card today!  I used a sentiment from It's Your Birthday--stamped in Early Espresso, then punched out with the 2" x 1 3/8" Oval Punch.  The Blushing Bride layer was embossed with the Flower Garden Embossing Folder, found in the Summer Mini Catalog!  I added a scalloped edge of white along the side of the Blushing Bride, then tied ribbon around it!

Please be sure to check out my  upcoming classes!  See them HERE!

Hope you enjoy!
