Two RAK's!!

Good morning!!!  I spent some time in my stamp studio yesterday, but I was working on some photo books for our Varsity Coaches.  Our banquet is in May, and I'm making several different gifts.  Unfortunately, not are quite finished, so I can't show them to you!!  (really, I promise!!!)  So, in the meantime, please enjoy these two beautiful cards I received this month:

Rakshert

This was from my upline, Sherrie!  She sends cards out each month to her top sales, and I was lucky enough to get one for my March sales!!  Thanks, Sherrie!!

Raktrudyw

This is from one of the girls in my downline!  I also send out monthly cards to top sales and for those that have anniversaries, birthdays, promotions, etc.  She was thanking me for the card she received!!!  Isn't this the cutest?!!  Thanks, Trudy!!

Have a great day!!!

New Clubs Forming!!

Hi!  I have gotten all the dates picked for the next round of clubs!!  Each will start in August, and run through May 2012!!  If you're interested, please click HERE to see all the details!!

Also, if you'd like to see what we've done this year, look in the right hand column for the photo albums!!

Good morning!

I'm sorry--I have nothing to share with you this morning!!  I've been working on senior gifts for the baseball, and haven't even made any cards!!  But, I plan on "playing" this morning, so will have more to share soon!!  So, please come back tomorrow!!! :-)

One last Stamp-a-Stack Card!

Good morning!!  Here's the last card from the April Stamp-a-Stack!

Aprilsas4

This is a very simple card, but I love the way it turned out!  I wanted to use this design from the Springtime Vintage Designer Paper, and as I searched through my stamp sets, I came across the Eastern Blooms stamp set--don't the flowers coordinate with the paper perfectly?!!  I  love it!  I stamped the branch in Baja Breeze, then took the Not Quite Navy marker and dotted the centers!  There are also three rhinestones on there--but it's hard to see in the picture!

Have a GREAT day!!  I'm off to the gym to do a little running!!  (yuck!! haha!!)  I'll see you tomorrow!

Springtime Smiles

Aprilsas2

Good morning!!  Here's another of the cards we made at my April Stamp-a-Stack!  I copied a card we made at  a downline shoebox swap back in March!  Sharon made this card, but she used Pink PIrouette and Soft Suede.  I didn't have any pink pirouette cardstock (yikes!!), so I changed the colors to Early Espresso and Daffodil Delight!!  The flower is stamped on the white cardstock, then colored in with the Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write marker.  The sentiment is stamped on the Vellum Cardstock.

Hope you have a wonderful week!!

Divas Sketch Challenge #133

Happy Weekend!!  We're off and running this morning--two games, one at 9am and one at 10am!  Then, I have my new club coming over at 2pm!!!  Can't wait!!

As always, Saturdays mean the Divas' Sketch Challenge!  I really liked this sketch, but had a hard time with it!!

Here's my card:

Divasc133

The card base is Baja Breeze, and then different designs from the Paisley Petals Designer paper!  I love this paper--can't wait to see all the others in the NEW Catalog!!  (coming in July!!)  Stamp Set is Clearly For You, from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  We were given this set at our Leadership Conference in January!  I'm so glad--to be honest, I probably wouldn't have purchased it on my own, but I sure have gotten alot of use out of it!  It's very easy to work with, and will work with many different color schemes!  So, Thanks Stampin' Up!  :-)

Please continue on today's tour by visiting Carol's Blog!!  And, have a wonderful weekend!!!

Sketch Frenzy Friday!

Good morning!!  I'm so happy--it's nice and warm here in Albuquerque, and so far, no wind!!  Every April is the same--by the end of the month, I'm ready to move out of here!! haha!!  The wind is just awful, and of course, we have a million baseball games that I can't miss!  But, by May, I'm loving it again!

It's Friday, and here's our Sketch Frenzy for today, brought to us by Robbie:

Sff042211sketch

Boy, when I first saw this, I had NO idea what to do with it!! haha!!  But, then my Fun Flowers Die was delivered, and this idea came to me:

Sff042211

I used the Color Throwdown challenge to help me decide on colors to use! The challenge was to use Night of Navy, Whisper White and one other color!  I chose Real Red!  There are several embossing folders used here:  Petals-a-plenty, Vintage Wallpaper and Perfect Polka Dots!  I like all the texture--but, I think if I made this card again, I would leave the base layer of red smooth.  The ribbon is Night of Navy 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain.  For the bottom, I just snipped off the edge, and pulled out a few of the strands to create the fringe!

Now, to continue on our SFF Tour, click HERE for Tina's Blog!  Enjoy!!!

Fun Flowers Die!

Hooray!  I finally got the Fun Flowers Die, and I love it!!!

Aprilsas5

This card is so bright and cheery--love the colors!!  I used the Sew Suite Designer Paper as my starting point, then added Tempting Turquoise (added textured with the Framed Tulips embossing folder) and Pumpkin Pie!  For the flowers, I used white, then sponged Melon mambo and Pumpkin Pie on the edges.  In the center is a Sew Suite Fabric Button!!

Have a GREAT day!!!
