Divas Sketch Challenge #112

Happy Weekend!!!  Only three short weeks until Christmas!!  Have you completed all your holiday shopping?  If not, come see me at the La Cueva Craft Fair!!  It's a big one, with plenty of vendors to shop with!!  I'd love to see you!

Saturday means a sketch challenge over at the UDI Blog!!  Carol does such a fantastic job with these sketches!!  And, this week was no exception!  Here's the sketch:

I used the Deck the Halls Designer Paper as my "main image".  This paper is absolutely gorgeous, and many of the designs can stand alone for a card!  I just love those white poinsettias!!!  I added a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes, stamped then punched out with the Modern Label Punch!  Love how this one turned out--simple, but elegant!!

Sketch Frenzy Friday!

So, are you tired of crumb cake and real red yet?!! haha!!  At least I didn't use Marina Mist this morning!! haha!!

This card was made for the Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge!  You can see the original sketch HERE.

I love this card--it just says "fun" to me!!  I used the largest snowflake from the Northern Hearts Stamp Set, and stamped in Crumb Cake onto Crumb Cake!  Nice subtle background, I think!  Then, I stamped the "winter wonderland" from the Bright Christmas stamp set at the bottom.  I attached the snowflake to the card using one of our Glitter Brads--very sparkly!!  What do you think?

More Northern Hearts!!

Hi!!  I'm so excited--I'm just about ready for the HUGE La Cueva Craft Fair that's coming up on Saturday!  This is the first year I've done this one, and I'm really nervous!  It's such a big fair--I just hope I've made enough items!!  I would love to see YOU there!!  Stop by and say hello!  It's my last craft fair this holiday season!!

As I was stamping on Tuesday for my design team duties, I had these colors out for yesterday's card!  So, I just made another card using mostly the same supplies!  I used MaryJo's sketch for inspiration!!

It's a fairly simple card--just stamped snowflakes!!  I did add a little bling--hadn't pulled out my rhinestones in awhile, and I was missing them!  haha!!  The sentiment is from Contempo Christmas, and the snowflakes are from the Level I hostess set, Northern Hearts!

Diva Coffee Break Designs #205

Good morning, and Happy Wednesday!!  Can you believe it's already December 1?!!  It sure feels like it here in the Southwest!!  I'm freezing!!! lol!!  I wouldn't survive up north where it's actually cold more than a few weeks out of the year!  But, the sun is shining, and it's a gorgeous day outside, despite the cold!

Wednesday always means a challenge from the Divas!!  Here is our sketch:

and here is my interpretation:

I actually cut and measured out three white pieces of cardstock--that was alot of work!  And then, I covered up my handiwork with the real red taffeta ribbon!!  I could've just used one piece of white--you would have never known!! haha!!  These are my current favorite colors for snowflakes:  Marina Mist, Crumb Cake and Real Red.  I just love them together!
