Sketch Frenzy Friday!

Good morning!!  First, I must apologize for the picture--it rained ALL day yesterday!!  So, I couldn't take the picture in the sun, and I don't have much experience editing the photos!  I do live in the Sunny Southwest, so there's not alot of need for editing!! :-)

This is my card for the Sketch Frenzy Friday!!  Here's the sketch:

Christmas+sketch

And here's my card:

Sff121710

This card turned out so pretty!!!  I wish you could all see it "in real life"!!  Very sparkly!!  For the background, I embossed the small snowflakes in white, then stamped the large snowflakes in Crumb Cake.  I also embossed the sentiment.  For the blue snowflake, I adhered Marina Mist cardstock to our adhesive sheets, then cut out the snowflake.  Once I peeled away the adhesive backing, I added the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter!!  I love it!!!  I attached it with a Glimmer Brad in Silver!  (more sparkle!!)

Happy Holidays!!

Simple Holidays

Case53fite

Here's a simple Holiday card I made several months ago!  I used my favorite, Northern Hearts!!  Along with the sentiment set, Four the Holidays.  Colors are Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive.

It's a busy week for me, so posts might be sporadic!!  I apologize, but sometimes life takes over!!  :-)  Today I have to finish up teachers' gifts and party favors for my downline!!  And, mail Christmas packages to family!  Busy day!!  Hope you're all enjoying the holidays!  I love all the hustle and bustle!!

Happy Holidays!!!

Divas Sketch Challenge #113

Time for another sketch challenge!!

I love these snowflakes!!

Divasc113

Again, I used the Northern Hearts Stamp Set, and added the sentiment from A Bright Christmas stamp set.  I also used Real Red Satin Ribbon and Daffodil Delight Grosgrain ribbon.  Cardstock colors are Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Whisper Whtie and Old Olive!  Once again, the colors came from a color challenge!  This one is the Color Q Challenge #62!  Aren't the bright and fun?!  I did have to substitute Old Olive for the Glorious Green--I dont' have that green anymore!

Time to take a hop to Carol's Blog!

If you'd like to see the original sketch, you can see it on the UDI Blog!
