Divas Sketch Challenge #101

Hi!!  Aren't you glad the weekend is here?!!  We're off to a double-header--I love baseball!!  Hope he has a good game!!  Then, after, it's off to tennis lessons for my younger son!  A fun-filled day!!  Oh, and tomorrow evening is the Notre Dame game!!  Go Irish!!  I'm looking forward to a nice, relaxing day!!

Okay, on to the real reason you're here--my card for the Sketchy Saturday challenge over at UDI!!

With all my Christmas card classes, I almost forgot about fall cards!!  So, this was a fun one!  I used Autumn Splendor and the level 3 hostess set, Occasional Quotes.  The colors are Pear Pizzazz, More Mustard and Cajun Craze.  I think they go well together!!  For the background, I randomly stamped all the leaves, then ran it through the Big Shot with the Lattice Square Embossing Folder.  I the effect!!

Here are the other three cards we made with my Card club this month!!  Please let me know if you have any questions!!!

 

The Night of Navy background is done with Presto Patterns Specialty Paper and the Brayer!!  So fun and easy!  It comes in white, with clear embossing--so, you can brayer it and make it any color you'd like!!!

This is made with one of my favorite new sets--Just Believe!  And, the colors are Peach Parfait and Pear Pizzazz--aren't they gorgeous together!!!

 

The rectangles are done with our new sizzlet, Scallop Rectangle.  It's a "Clearlit", meaning that you can see through it--very nice if you're cutting out pictures, or even a sentiment!!  Makes placement soooo easy!!

What fun!!!

Good morning!!  Today I'm going to share some of the cards we made at my awesome card club!!!  We always have so much fun!!!  If you have questions on any of these, please email me!!!

This was my favorite!!  We punched the butterflies, then embossed them with the Big Shot!!!  I used our new Jewel Pearls for the "body".

This is a fun and simple Halloween card!  I used the Decorative Label punch after I stamped the Spooky!!

 

This was done with Season of Friendship, then I punched out flowers with the Itty Bitty Punched Shapes!

Did you miss me?

I can't believe it's been almost a week since I've posted project!!!  That cold really wiped me out!  Then, of course, I had to get caught up with my "chores" yesterday!  We're all doing great now--both boys are back in school, and I'm feeling MUCH better!!!  And, I have so much to share with you!!!!  We'll start with some fun Halloween projects that my stamp club made!

This is a Fancy Favor box, and we made 3 fun treats to go inside:

A fun Cello Bag with 4 Hershey nuggets.  Just stamp on address labels, and wrap them around--soooo easy!!  The topper is made with the Top Note Die and Big Shot! 

A test tube decorated and filled with Nerds candy!  (there wasn't any tiny halloween candy available yet!!)

 

These are made using the Scallop Circle punch!  I found these fun candies at the grocery store.  I usually use Peppermint Patties!  They made two of these to go in the bag!

Supplies used:  Wicked Cool Stamp Set, Bitty Bat Punch, Rich Razzleberry & Basic Black cardstock & ink, Wicked Fun Specialty Paper, Spider Web Embossing Folder, Decorative Label Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Fancy Favor Die, Big Shot

Divas Sketch Challenge #100

I don't have my card ready to post today.  My whole family has been sick this week, and I forgot to take pictures!  Please hop on over to Tiffany's to see her beautiful card!!

Divas Coffee Break Design #193

Wow!  Wednesday snuck up on me!!  It always takes me a day or two to get back on track after a long weekend! 

I love the sketch this week--you can see it HERE.

And, here is my card:

I used Serene Snowflakes, along with Four the Holidays.  Colors are Bashful Blue and Real Red.

The Bashful Blue layer was run through the Big Shot and the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder--I just love snowflakes!!  The large white Snowflake was cut with the Big Shot and the Snowflakes #2 Die!  You can't really see it in the photo, but I applied Shimmer paint to the snowflake with a sponge dauber--it's sparkly in real life!

One last Christmas Card............

Well, probably not, but it is the last one from my September Class!

Isn't it pretty?!!  And, it actually so easy!!  It would be a great "mass-production" kinda card!

The bells (from Bells and Boughs Stamp Set) are embossed in Gold, then colored in with an aquapainter and ink refills (Rich Razzleberry & Always Artichoke)  The Gold Scalloped Square was cut with the Big Shot.  Simple, simple!!

Look--I stamped on the inside of the card!!!

Samples from Convention!!

Good morning!!  I've been busy planning for classes, but I don't have anything photographed yet!!  So, here are some pictures that I took of the sample boards at Convention in July!!  There are so many ideas shared at convention--it can be totally overwhelming!!! :-)  Enjoy these!!
