Mojo Monday!!

Hi!!!  I can't believe today is the last day of September!!  The year is flying by!! 

Here is a fun card I made for the Mojo Monday Sketch (HERE)!  It's a 4 1/4" square card:

I used the Wicked Cool Stamp Set--such a fun Halloween set--not too scarey!!    I also used the Wicked Fun Specialty Paper--just a small strip, but it helped me determine the colors used!!

Other supplies: 

Cardstock:  Cajun Craze, Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black & Whisper White

Ink:  Black Stazon and Cajun Craze Classic Ink

Misc:  Black Taffeta ribbon, Jewel Rhinestones (every card should have at least one!!)

Divas Coffee Break Design #196

Hi, and happy Wednesday!!!  I am finally feeling human again, and am ready for some fun!!  Going to finish planning my October class projects today!  Have you registered for the classes yet??  Just look in the right sidebar for a list!!  Come and play with me!!! :-)

Here's the Divas' Challenge for this week--come and play along with us!!!  Isn't this a great color combo?

And, here's my card:

I used the Medallion Stamp--I applied the ink with sponge daubers--just randomly!  Then, gave it a huff and stamped it onto White Glossy paper.  I love the way it came out!!!

The base of the card was run through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder--I thought it looked great with the Medallion, what do you think?

The sentiment is from Perfect Punches--stamped in Concord Crush ink, then punched out with the Curly Label Punch.  I layered that onto a piece of Pear Pizzazz punched out with the Decorative Label Punch.  The brads are found in the Holiday Mini Catalog--they're so sparkly in real life!!  Here's an up-close shot:

 

The layout for this card came from MaryJo's TechnoStamper's Sketch--you can see it HERE.  I love her sketches, but haven't had a chance to play along in a couple of weeks!  I was happy to get to today!

Snowflakes!!!

I love snowflakes, and I NEED every set in the catalog that has snowflakes!!  I always say "oh, I have snowflakes, I don't need that set", but then I order it anyway!!!  Not sure why--maybe it's because I live in the high desert, and we don't see much snow in real life!!  (and, that's okay!!)  Whatever the reason, I love them!!  Here's a card I made with the snowflakes from the Level One hostess set found in the Holiday Mini Catalog, Northern Hearts.

I stamped the snowflakes on the background in Real Red, Old Olive and Marina Mist Classic Ink.  Then, I ran that piece through the Big Shot with the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder--very cool, don't ya think?!!

The sentiment is from a completely non-holiday set, Just Believe!  But, I think it's a perfect holiday sentiment!!

To the dogs!!

Good morning!!  I spend almost all day yesterday in bed!!  I have another cold, and am beat!!!  I  am feeling better today, so hopefully that will continue! 

Here's a card we made at the Stamp-a-stack last weekend.  I used the D is for Dog Stamp Set and Early Espresso ink!  Look closely--do you see the dog's tag?  It's a jewel rhinestone!!  I thought I was so clever for thinking of that!!! :-)

September Stamp-a-Stack (of cards)!!

Last Sunday, I help my September Stamp-a-Stack!  We made six different cards (2 of each).  This is the Christmas Card we made!  I really love snowflakes, and the new Level I hostess set (from the Holiday Mini) is now one of my favorite sets!! 

This card also uses the Perfect Punches set--a great year-round set, as it has Congrats, Thanks, Birthday, etc!  Colors used are Real Red, Marina Mist and Old Olive--don't they look great together?!  And, the satin ribbon is so luxurious!!!

This second card was at the request of Patsy--she needed some masculine cards!  I don't have very many sets that are masculine, so I went with the tools:

This card is all Pacific Point and Basic Black!!  I really like these two colors together!!  Very simple card, but I did stamp the inside:

 

I'll have more later!!  I used two of the cards for my shoebox swap tonight, so I don't want my group to see them yet!! :-)

Stamp Camp Rejects!!!

Hi!!  My group, the Nacho Average Stampers, is putting on a stamp camp October 23!  We will be making 15 cards!  It's going to be so much fun!!!!  So, we met last Thursday (four hours!!!) to pick out the projects!  Well, when you have as much talent as these ladies, it's not easy to choose just 5 card designs!!!  (you'll make 3 of each of the designs).  It took us forever!!  haha!!  But, I absolutely love all the projects we picked out, and can't wait for you to see them!!!  If you'd like to join us, click HERE for all the details!!  Registration deadline is October 9, but if you sign up by September 23, you'll get an extra door prize ticket!!

11 years!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!!    Today marks my 11th year with Stampin' Up!!!  I can't believe it's been that long!  What a great 11 years though--I've made so many new friends that I would probably never have met if not for Stampin' Up!  I love my "job"--it brings me joy everyday, and I so appreciate it!  Big thanks to you, my loyal followers and friends for helping me make it successful!!
