My wonderful upline!!!

I have to tell you--one of my favorite things about my wonderful Stampin' Up! business is the people I have met.  Sherrie is my "upline"--the person I signed under when I joined Stampin' Up! almost 11 years ago!!  We didn't know each other very well--more of acquaintances than friends.  Well, over the past 10+ years, we've really become good friends.  I've also become very close to alot of my downline (those that sign up under me!).  It's such a special thing to share--this stamping thing!!!  I really feel blessed by all the friends I've made throughout the years!  And, this also includes my wonderful customers!!!  WOW--can't even count all the wonderful people I've met through this fun hobby of mine!!

Anyway, I wanted to share a card that Sherrie sent me recently--it's so darn cute!!

Don't you think so?  Love pink and brown together!!  And that yellow really stands out!!  Thanks so much, Sherrie!!!

This first card is one I made for one of my best friend's daughter's wedding!  She was married this week in Las Vegas--sure wish I could've been there!!  I used the Elements of Style Stamp Set, along with the sentiment from Special Blessing.  The background is our wonderful new Presto Patterns Specialty Paper!!  This paper is gorgeous--it all has white embossed images on a white background.  I simply brayered Bashful Blue ink over the entire thing--and that's where the magic happens--the ink doesn't "stick" to the embossed images!!!  So very pretty!!  The sentiment was stamped with Versamark Ink and embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.  I also embossed the flowers on the envelope, then watercolored with Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery ink.  Sure hope she liked it!!

Next up, another Elements of Style sample:

Sudsolbt1
This card is a Real Red base--I used a 4 1/4" x 11 piece of cardstock, so it opens from the bottom.  I then ran it through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I really love this one--can't stop using it!!! :-)  I stamped the flowers with Black Stazon onto Watercolor Paper, then water colored using the Aquapainter and ink refills.  (Real Red, So Saffron and Old Olive)  Then, I tied some beautiful Black Satin Ribbon around it!  Love this ribbon!!!!

Okay, last card!!  And, yes, it's the Elements of Style again!!

Sudsolbt2

This is a super simple card--I stamped the background with Taken with Teal ink.  The main image is a saying from the new Favorite Thoughts stamp set--also found in the Summer Mini Catalog.  It is stamped with Black Stazon, with a scroll stamped in the background.  (I stamped it once on scrap paper, then stamped over the sentiment.)

For more ideas, you can check out my SUDSOL Gallery HERE. Of course, this is just for demonstrators!  But, don't worry, if you're one of my wonderful customers, you'll see it all!! :-)  Or, maybe you'd like to join my team of stampers??  Click HERE--my password is "nachos"!!  If you join before May 22, 2010, I'll purchase a three-month subscription for you for SUDSOL!!

So, what do you think?  Are you ready to give SUDSOL a try?  I sure hope so!!

Have a GREAT day!!
