Royal Blog Tour!!

Good morning!!!  I am so excited to be a part of the Royal Blog Tour this weekend!!  You're going to see some amazing projects today!  So, grab a cup of coffee/tea/water, relax and enjoy the ride!!

I created a card set for a man!!  Aren't we always looking for something masculine?  Well, here ya go!!  I created the card holder to hold four cards and envelopes.  The cards do not have a sentiment--not even on the inside!!  But, you could always add your own!

Divas Coffee Break Design Challenge # 174

Good morning!!!  I hope you're all doing well!!!  I'm sorry to be so inconsistent in my posting--life has just gotten in the way!!  :-)  It's all been good things, so I won't complain!  I just hate letting my readers down--you guys are so good to me!!

It's Wednesday, and that means another challenge over at the DCBD Blog!  Our challenge this week was a color challenge:  Pink Passion, Tempting Turquoise and Dusty Durango!!  Yep--you read that correctly!!  I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the Dusty Durango!!!  But, I did come up with something--and I think it's kinda fun!!

Dcbd174
I used the Wanted Stamp Set, along with It's Your Birthday.  It's all just simple stamping.  I punched the sentiment out with the Word Window Punch, and the ribbon is the 3/8" Tempting Turquoise Grosgrain.  For the layout, I used the sketch at Stamping 411.  A fun and simple card!!

Now, I dare you to try this Color Challenge!!  Good luck!!!

Have a GREAT day!

Business...............

Good morning, and happy Tuesday!!!  Yesterday was interesting--my oldest woke up with a swollen eye--he couldn't even open it!!  So, we got in at the Dr.'s office--Monday mornings are NOT a good time to go!! haha!!  Looks like it's just an allergic reaction--so thank goodness for that!!  Then, my husband and I signed up to sell Gold Canyon candles!!!  I think this business will fit in well with my stamping.  And, my husband really wants to be involved, so he'll probably do alot of the candle stuff.  It's a great fundraiser, too--so if you need to do fundraising, give me a call!!  :-)  If you would like to check out the site, click HERE.  Wish me luck!!

Now on to my Stampin' Up! business!!  This will always be my first love!!  It has been such a blessing to my family and I.  Financially, it as enabled us to go on vacation (including two free cruises!!), as well as purchase my husband's "mid life crisis" car!! haha!!  Yep, I paid for a little sports car for my husband!!  It really makes me feel great to be able to contribute the family's finances, but still be available for my kids anytime they need me!  If you're interested in starting your own business, contact me--we can meet for coffee!!  Or, if you're not in Albuquerque, I'll just have to buy you a cup long distance!!  If you're like me, and like to "check things out" first, click HERE for all the details!!  And, if you're one of those people that like to jump right in, my password is "nachos".

WOW!!  I'm just full of hot air today, aren't I!!  Well, thanks for your patience!!  Now, here's the card for today:

Softsas 016
This is another card we made at the stamp-a-stack on Sunday!  The stamp set is from the Occasions Mini Catalog--"With All My Heart".  The large flower coordinates well with the XL Fancy Flower Punch!  Colors used are Lovely Lilac and Mellow Moss.  Both these are retiring as of July 1.

Hope you all have a GREAT day!!

Another Sketch Challenge!!

You all know how much I love sketch challenges!!  Well, I saw this sketch on the Pals Paper Arts site, and just had to play along!!  Here's the card:

Softsas 004
I designed this card for my Stamp-a-stack class yesterday--they loved it!!  It's Old Olive and Whisper White.  The sentiment is from the Fundamental Phrases set.  The designer paper is from the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack (in the soon to be expired Occasions Mini!!)

I thought it turned out quite cute!!  Really bright and cheery!!  Hope you like it!!

If you'd like to come to the next stamp-a-stack, it's Sunday, May 16 at 2pm.  Click HERE for more details and to register!!

Have a GREAT day!

Another Make-n-Take!

Mnt1

Here is the 2nd Make-n-take from the Nacho meeting last Thursday!  This was made using the new Wheel Builders!!!  I can't wait to show you these fun items!!!  There are six to choose from, and you can mix and match them, depending on your needs!!  So Cool!!!

This whole card was done in Brocade Blue--one of the retiring colors!  Please remember to order your retiring cardstock and ink/ink refills before June 1!!!  When June 1 rolls around, all the retiring colors will be "while supplies last"!!  So, order before that to ensure you get what you want/need!!!

Have a GREAT day!!
