I love the Red & Black combination, and adding the Basic Gray just adds a soft touch!  I love the way it turned out!!  I used the Flower Fancy stamp set, along with Whimsical Words--a set you can earn free!!!   The main image is backed by two flowers layered.  They were punched using the Extra Large Fancy Flower punch!!  And, the ribbon is our new Satin ribbon in Real Red--so luxurious!!  Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me with their products!!

Speaking of the Big Shot--we used it alot on this card!!  First, for the background we used the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds 1 Texturz plate.  We sprayed it with an alcohol and shimmer paint mixture first, then put it through the Big Shot!!  You get great texture that's sparkly!!!  You can't see it in the picture, but it's there!!  Then, I used Tea Party Designer Paper for the Butterflies!  We used the Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings Embosslit for them.  Other items used:  Square Scallop Punch and A Little Birthday Cheer Stamp set!!

Enjoy your day!

Simple Easter!

Good morning!!  Had a VERY busy weekend--lots of fun, but now have to catch up on the housework! Yucko! haha!!  But, before I do, here's a card we made at the stamp-a-stack on Friday night!

Febsas1

I used the Welcome Neighber Designer Series Pad, and the A Good Egg stamp set.  I stamped the large egg on the back of the designer paper, then cut out.  I used my two-way glue pen to draw some designs on the eggs, then covered with glitter.  The "grass" is simple--just cut a bunch of slits in a strip of Certainly Celery cardstock with your paper snips!!  It's a simple card, but cute, I think!!

My next Stamp-a-Stack of cards will be Thursday, March 11 @ 7pm.  We're going to focus on green!!!  No, they won't all be St. Patty's Day cards!!  But, I am going to try to use green on all the cards, in honor of St. Patty's Day!!  It's going to be a fun evening--sure hope you can join us!!  Click HERE to register!

Have a GREAT day!

Baseball Birthday!!

WOW!!  This weekend is flying by!!  I hope you're all enjoying it!!  Here's another card we made on Friday night.  This one is for a boy/man--aren't these the hardest ideas to come up with?!!  And, with two boys, I have to come up with them all the time!! haha!!

To help me with ideas, I do alot of challenges (as I'm sure you've noticed!! haha!)  This card was inspired by the Stampin' Royalty challenge #7--masculine cards!!

Febsas4
I used Just Baseball and Four Square stamp sets.  Ink Colors are Real Red, Night of Navy and Close to Cocoa.  The card base is kraft!!  Very simple--no fru-fru for the boys!!   I did add some paper piercing along the botton of the main image--couldn't just leave it plain!

Enjoy!

Sketchy Saturday #71

Happy Saturday!!!  I'm off to a birthday bash card class this morning, but I wanted to share my Sketchy Saturday card with you before I leave for the day!!  You can see the original sketch HERE!  And, here's my card:

Divasc71

I pulled out a stamp set that hadn't been used in awhile--Petal Pizzaz!!  I really like this set, but with all the new sets in the mini catalogs, it has been neglected!!  :-)

The card base is Lovely Lilac.  I stamped a piece of white with Summer Sun, Lovely Lilac and Sage Shadow.  I used my handy dandy color wheel to help with my colors!  Once stamped, I sent it through the Big Shot using the Circles #2 Die.  The ribbon is our Whisper White Organza Ribbon--so soft and pretty!

Oh, I almost forgot--I used my Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder!!  Love it!!  If you don't have it yet, you need it!!! :-)  And the sentiment is from the Whimsical Words--a set you can earn FREE during Sale-a-bration!  Contact me to find out how!!!

The Design Team over at UDI is trying something new this week--to hopefully make it easier for you to see all the Design Team entries!  Each of us is linking to the next Design Team member!!  So, in theory, if you click on each person's link, you'll eventually end up here again!!!  Let us know what you think about this!!!  And now, go visit Tiffany's Blog--you'll love her work!!!

Have a GREAT day!!

Spring Stamp-a-Stack

Good morning!!  Sorry to be a little late with my posting--I've been busy setting up for my Spring Stamp-a-stack tonight!!  I'm really excited about it--lots of fun ladies coming!!  Here are a couple of the cards we're making tonight!

Febsas2

The above card uses the Sale-a-brtion set, Happy Moments!  It's such a fun set--you can make just about any card you'd need with it!!  And, with the Clear Mounts, you can mount both the flower image and the sentiment on the same block--insuring correct alignment everytime!!!  I am loving the clear mount stamps!!  The designer paper is from the Sweet Pea Stack--what a deal:  48 sheets of 12x12, double-sided designer paper for only $24.95!!  And, the colors and patterns are so varied--you'll use it all!!  I also used the Sale-a-bration Scallop Trim border punch, and the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.

For the next card, I used one of my current favorite stamp sets:  Vintage Vogue!

Febsas3

Colors used are Perfect Plum, Pale Plum and Mellow Moss.  This is a classic color combination--hard to make it look bad!! :-)  I used Well-Scripted for the sentiment--and of course, you could use whatever sentiment you needed!!

Hope you have a GREAT day!!!  If you'd like to attend my next stamp-a-stack (March 11 @ 7pm), click HERE to register.  These classes have been filling up fast, so be sure and register soon!!
