Friday's Stamp Club

Good morning!!  I'm busy getting ready for the Happy Hearts Class this afternoon!  Can't wait!  But, I did promise to show you our club projects from Friday night, so here ya go:

This one holds a box of candy heart!  And, when you pull up the ribbon, the box pops up:

And, here's a candy holder made with the Big shot and Scallop Square Die:

And, last but not least, a little matchbox holder for a ghiradelli chocolate:

Divas Sketch Challenge #68

Happy Weekend!!!  It's a busy one for me!  My stamp club met last night--so much fun!!!  We made three little candy treats--I'll show those to you tomorrow!!  Today is reserved for the Divas' Sketchy Saturday!!  I have two cards to show you--this first one I made, and was so proud of myself!  Then, I read the "fine print" on the challenge, and I was supposed to use a line-image and color it!!!  Silly me!!!

So, here's my next try--basically the same card, but I did it right this time!! haha!!

On both cards, I used Rose Red and Bermuda Bay--took the colors from the Welcome Neighbor Designer Paper Pad (Sale-a-bration).  The first card uses the sentiment from the With all My Heart stamp set.  The second card uses the Whimsical Words and Love You Much Stamp sets!!

Vintage Vogue

Good morning!!  Each week over at SUDSOL, (a group for SU! Demonstrators), they hold a "Chat & Challenge".  We all get together online and chat--and the person in charge gives us a sketch to use!  Well, this time, Robin also gave us the challenge to use red, white and black!!  It was alot of fun!!  And, here's what I did:

I used the Vintage Vogue Stamp Set, along with the Pink Flamingo Designer Paper.  The ribbon is our new satin ribbon, in Black, and the scallops were done with the new Scallop Trim punch!!

New Challenge -- Compose a Card!

Becky O. has a new challenge on her blog!!  It's so much fun, and so easy--she gives you the measurements and colors!!!  You can see all the details HERE.  And, here is my card:

She used a color called Melon Berry.  I took it literally, and used Melon Mambo.  They really aren't as close as they should be, but I like the card so I stuck with it!! :-)

Supplies used:  With All My Heart and Priceless Stamp Set

Colors:  Melon Mambo Ink & Cardstock; Choc Chip ink; Kraft and Vanilla Cardstock

Misc:  Buttons, Melon Mambo Ribbon

Divas Coffee Break Design Challenge # 162

WOW!!!  Talk about a challenge!!!  Check out this color challenge:

This one totally threw me for a loop!!!  I think it was the Old Olive!!  I would LOVE to see what you can do with these colors!!  Once you get it, be sure and add your link to this post!

Here's what I came up with!!  I combined the color challenge with Mary Jo's Monday Sketch!

It's a 3x6 card.  I used the With All My Heart stamp set, from the Mini Occasions Catalog!

I used all the colors in the challenge, along with Whisper White.  I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch and the Ice Circle Rhinestones.  Hope you like it!!

Last of the Birthday Bash!

This layout came from a birthday card from Sheryl!  I loved the card, but didn't have the designer paper she used!  So, I changed up the colors!!  Isn't it gorgeous!!!

Birthday Bash!!!

What a great time we had yesterday afternoon!!  We had a packed house, but it didn't seem to bother anyone!  Here are a couple of the cards we made:

I promised them a masculine card, and this is what I came up with!  It uses the Wanted and It's Your Birthday stamp sets.

And here's a girly card!! I absolutely love this new stamp set, Vintage Vogue!!  It's very easy to work with, and produces such beautiful results!!!  The background is done with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder--so crisp!!!!  And, you know how much I love my Big Shot!!

Saturday Sketch Challenge #135

Good morning!!!  Just a quick share--I had some quiet time yesterday, so I stamped!!  This is for the Saturday Sketch Challenge over at Stamping 411.

I used Rose Red and Pretty in Pink.  The sentiment is from Well-Scripted, and the cute birds are from an older set, Love You Much.  The heart was done with the Hearts Embosslit and my Big Shot.
