Quilted Purse!!

Look what I made!!  I saw these a couple of weeks ago, and just fell in love with them!!!  I used the Big Shot and Scallop Square Die to cut out the fabric--makes it sooo easy!!!  They are so much fun to make!!

And here's a close-up of the button closure.  I didn't plan it out--I should've used a light color on the center square so the button would show up more.  But, it's still pretty!!!

This purse is a gift for a special friend, but I plan on making lots more of them!!!  Very fun and easy!  Believe me, I am NOT a seamstress!! :-)

Satin Ribbon Share!!

Divas Sketch Challenge #63!!

Good morning!!  It's Saturday, and that means a Sketch Challenge over at the UDI Blog!!  This was a fun sketch, and Carol added a fun challenge for us--we were to use our favorite color!!  Well, mine had to be pink, green and yellow!!  When I first started as a demonstrator, these were about the only colors I used!! haha!!  They're so bright and cheery!!  Enjoy!!  And, happy Boxing Day!!

Black & White

Good morning!!!  Here is a fun card we made at the November Stamp-a-Stack!!  It's a simple card made with the Night & Day designer paper.  Isn't it elegant?  Don't forget--you can only order from the Holiday Mini Catalog until January 4!!!  So, if there's anything you wanted, be sure and order before it's too late!!  (good news--the Shimmer Paints will be available past this date!!!!  As well as all the Build-a-Bear items!! woohoo!!)

 I used the Heard from the Heart stamp set, stamped with Black Stazon. 

The card base is Basic Black, then Whisper white.  That's 5/8" Black Grosgrain, then 1/4" white grosgrain tied around it!!  I love the look of layered ribbon!!
