Nacho Shoebox Swap!!

Wow!!  I'm really late in posting these cards!!  My wonderful downline met way back on August 14 for a shoebox swap!  What fun we had!!  I love getting together with these girls--they always get me re-energized!!

This beautiful card was designed by Leilani--love these colors together!!  (rich razzleberry, bermuda bay & soft suede)

This quick and easy card was designed by Sharon!!  I love it!!!  and, I learned that you can use the two-way glue pen to attach the micro beads!!!  It looks great!!  I love the ribbon on this card!

Jenni designed this card!  I think it's so pretty!!  Again--learned a tip!  If you purchase this set (Scenic Season)  you can cut the "season's greetings" apart from the trees--just mount the sentiment on the end of the block.  That way, you don't have to use the greeting everytime you stamp the trees!!  And, now you've created a set that can be used year round!!

This is the card I designed for the swap.  When a new team member comes to her first shoebox swap, I always do her card for her--then she can just come and stamp and get to know everyone!  I had made this card for a challenge, and decided to use it for Marge's first swap!!  You can find all the details HERE!

and, here's my card!  I used Animal Stories and the Tall Tales Designer Paper.  The saffron piece is actually what opens, instead of the full card!

I'd really like to know how Leilani did her card background. Very pretty. Please ask her to let us know. TFS!

For that background, you'll brayer ink onto the embossing folder, then run your cardstock through. It will come out white where it's embossed!!
