LateNightStampers Challenge #26

Good morning!!!  I was able to stamp a little on Sunday, and complete several card challenges!!  Be sure to stay tuned all week--lots of fun stuff to come!!

Today's card is for the LateNightStampers Group Challenge!  The challenge was to use red, white & blue!  It doesn't have to be the 4th of July theme, and can be any red and any blue!!  I did two cards, and used different colors for each!!

For this first card, I used Ballet Blue and Rose Red!  Love these together!!!

Good morning!!!  My brother, John, is getting married this afternoon!!!  We're so happy for him and his fiance, Carrie!!  We wish them years and years of happiness!!  Here is the card I sent:

I thought it turned out very elegant!!  It's a tri-fold card, with a pocket for the gift.

Divas Coffee Break Design Challenge!!

Good afternoon!!!  I finally got to stamp!!!  I haven't stamped much since a week ago Monday--when we got the puppies!!  I'd forgotten how much time they take!!  But, I really needed to catch up with some design team work, so I "worked" for a few hours this afternoon!

This card I made for the Divas' Coffee Break Design Team!  I'm not really fond of it--love the colors, but the layout was hard for me to work with!   Here's the Sketch:

I used the Heartfelt Thanks stamp set--only available for 6 more days!!!  This has always been one of my favs--sure hate to see it go!!!

New Clubs Forming!!

Clubs--What are they??

Stamp clubs & card clubs are great ways to get together with friends and have a great time!!  It's also a great way to build up your supplies a little at a time!  Each club has different requirements as to your minimum purchase, but they all "work" the same way!  Basically, we'll meet for a certain number of months (depending on the number of members).  Each month, we'll make either a certain number of cards, or a project.  Each member is required to purchase a certain amount each month, and we will rotate so that each member gets the hostess benefits one month!  The biggest advantage to being in a club is that all meetings are at my house--so no cleaning for you!! :-) 

 

If you do decide to join, please remember that you are making a commitment for the entire duration of the club, and you must purchase your minimum each month, even if you can't make it to the meeting!!  If you can't make a meeting, you will still get all the supplies for the projects we make that month!

 

When you contact me to join, please tell me your first & second choices for the month you'd like to be hostess!

 

So, on to the specifics...............

 

Friday Night Stamp Club

 

All meetings are Friday night at 7pm.  We will make more involved projects--cards with advanced techniques or 3D projects!  Minimum purchase is $30, before ship/tax.  Club runs for 8 months.

Divas' Sketch Challenge!!

Good morning!!!  I am so excited to show you this card--it's my first card made with any of the NEW In-Colors!!!  I love them!!  To help with colors, I followed Kristina's Color Challenge:  Basic Gray, Rust, Mustard & Vanilla.  And, of course, it's Saturday, so it's a sketch day!!  You can see the sketch on the UDI Blog!

Now on to the card:

I used a brand new stamp set:  Circle Circus!!  I love the bold patterns!!  This one will be lots of fun to play with!!!

Also used:

Cardstock:  Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, Basic Gray, Very Vanilla and Urban Oasis Designer Paper

Ink:  Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry & Basic Gray

Misc:  Modern Label Punch (new!!!), and Dusty Durango Polka Dot Ribbon (I love that it's solid on one side, and dotted on the other!!  How versatile!!)
