Utah Divas' Sketchy Saturday
May 30, 2009
Good morning!!! I hope you're all enjoying a sunny Saturday!! It's beautiful here in the Land of Enchantment! You just can't beat the weather here in Albuquerque--warm, sunny, and DRY!!! :-) For those of you that have never been to Phoenix, AZ--let me tell you, the whole "it's a dry heat" thing--not so much!!! It's VERY humid there, and VERY hot!! After spending last weekend in the hot, humid air watching a gadzillion baseball games, I really appreciate my weather here at home even more!!
Okay, enough rambling!! It's Sketchy Saturday over at the UDI Blog! Here's my version of the sketch:
I used the Tart & Tangy Stamp Set and the Rockabilly Designer Paper! Colors are Real Red, Kiwi Kiss and Basic Black!! I used the aluminum cirlce tag for the main image--layered a black 1 3/4" circle onto the tag (to cover the white), then added the red scallop circle and then the stamped image!! I like the way it turned out!!!
There's still time to take advantage of the May specials!!! The Buy 3, Get 1 Free deal is a steal!!! Check out my Stampin' Up! Business website for all the details on this special, as well as the special $75 Starter Kit!!! ( another steal!!! ) Let me know if you have any questions!!!
Great looking card and I love how you used the paper. And it's one of those that are going to say "bye-bye" on Monday. Better order it before it runs out!
TFS!

I like how you used this week's sketch. The scallop circle in the aluminum tag is a great addition to the card.

Another great card! I love how you used the 2 patterns together. I need to open my package of Rockabilly and use it up since it's going to be gone soon. LOL
TFS!
