Two for One!!!

Good morning!!!  I was able to combine two challenges for this card!!  First, the DCBD Challenge this week was a color challenge:  Riding Hood Red, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery and Always Artichoke!!  Then, I used the  Mojo Monday sketch for the layout!!

Dcbd128mojo87

I had a really hard time with the colors!  But, I think it turned out okay.  I used the Flourishes Stencil for the background--sponged always artichoke ink onto Certainly celery cardstock.  The stamps used were from Baroque Motifs and Say it with Scallops.

I challenge you to use the colors in this challenge!!  Let me see what you did with them--leave me a comment!!

Have a GREAT day!

Last of the Card Club Cards.............

Here are the last couple of cards we made at the May Card Clubs.  You can always see them all together in the photo aalbum--look in the right column!!

Mayclub1

This is one I copied right out of our Demonstrator magazine!!  I loved the colors, and the way the ribbon was colored!!!

Mayclub2

I received a card like this from my wonderful upline, Sherrie!!  I changed the colors a bit, but otherwise, it's a complete CASE!!!  Thanks for the inspiration, Sherrie!!!

Latenight Stampers Challenge #20

Lnsc20

Happy Monday Morning!!  Mondays mean a new challenge over at LateNightStampers!!!  This week's challenge is a color-combo:  Kraft, Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive!!  I love these colors--and they go together so nicely!!!

I used Wanted and All Holidays stamp sets, along with some Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon!!  The base of the card is the striped Kraft cardstock from the Taste of Textiles paper!!!

Have a great day!!

Mojo 86

Howdy!!  I had a free Sunday, so I stamped!!  Well, I stayed home from the baseball games today--I have a cold, and I just couldn't sit out in the heat--I'm a wimp!!!  But, I did get my stamp room cleaned up--I've had several classes/workshops this past week, and things were in total chaos!!  Now, it's all put away again!  I was able to complete some upcoming challenges (check back all week!!!), as well as last Monday's Mojo Sketch!!!

Mojo86 I love these colors together!!  I don't use Sage Shadow as much as I should--it's so pretty!!!

Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set

Hi!!!  Here's my card for the sketch challenge over at theUDI blog!!  I love this stamp set!!  I haven't used it in awhile, but now that we're close to Father's Day AND my husband and boys' birthdays, I had to pull it out again!!

Fitedivasc30

I used Chocolate Chip ink for the horse, and just stamped him four times without re-inking the stamp!  Just move him to the left a little each time!  Makes it look like he's running across the card!!

Ink:  Chocolate Chip

Misc:  large and small Star punches

Chat & Challenge

Ready for a SIMPLE card?!!  I made this card for a recent Chat & Challenge over at SUDSOL (a site for demos only).  It's very simple, but I loved the stencil on it!!

Cc167 004 I used Not Quite Navy for the card base, then sponged the image on with Not Quite Navy ink and the "Kind Thoughts Flourish" stencil.  These can be found in the Decor Elements brochure.   I used the small one (#116572, $9.95) for the card.  I love the way it turned out!!

I stamped the sentiment in Not Quite Navy ink as well, and then tied the Vanilla 3/8" grosgrain around the card!

Like I said, SIMPLE!!  But, pretty!!

Fifthavenueflroal

I also wanted to remind you of the online order special!!  Place an order online of $50 or more, and I will send you the 31-page Fifth Avenue Class to Go!!  I absolutely love this clear box!!!  Yep--the front of the box is actually a window sheet!!  How cool is that?!!  Click HERE to shop now!

Have a GREAT day!

Divas' Challenge #127

I really love being on this design team!!  I do three each week, and they really make me stamp!!  And, I have to use my own ideas--not anyone else's!! haha!!  I do feel that I've grown in my art, and I think it's mainly because of these wonderful teams I've been blessed to be on!!

So, Wednesday is the Divas Coffee Break Design Team challenge!  This week it's a sketch!!  I want you to head on over to the blog and try your hand at the sketch!!  It's a fun one, and I'd love to see what you come up with!!

Here's my card:

Dcbd127 005 Isn't it pretty?!!!  It just came together--all by itself!  I just applied the adhesive!! haha!!!  And, I just realized--there is NO stamping on it AT ALL!!!  Shame on me!!  LOL!!  I did use my Big Shot though--gotta love that machine!!  I made the two butterflies with So Saffron and Pretty in Pink cardstock.  For the "body", I used 3 half pearls from my Pretties Kit--love the way it looks!!  The designer paper is Tea Party--the colors are so soft and pretty!!  It's my current favorite!!  The ribbon is the 5/8" Satin Ribbon, found in the Occasions Mini catalog.

If you have any questions, just leave a comment, or email me!!

Don't forget--you can get one pack of designer paper for every three you purchase!!!  (offer includes all designer paper and 12x12 Textured cardstock!!)

Have a great day!!!
