Divas Sketch Challenge #15

ood morning, and Happy Saturday!!  As usual, Saturday is sketchy over at the UDI Blog!!  And, here's my card for this week's sketch!!!  Actually, I did two--they are just about the same, but I added a little more to this first one (stamped it second!!):

Downlinemtg 045

This card uses the Delicate Dots Designer Paper, the Polka Dot Punches Stamp Set, lot's of punches!!!  Colors are So Saffron, Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue and Whisper White.  The card is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4".  I like to make them this size because they'll still fit in a regular sized card envelope!

Here is my first attempt:

It uses all the same colors, paper, etc--but just one punch this time!!

Enjoy!!

Mojo Monday #71

Hi!!  I was trying to do a Black & White Challenge for Sudsol (a group for SU! demonstrators), but just couldn't do it!!! haha!!  Anyway, I did use the Mojo Monday sketch--I liked this one!  I might have to try it again on another card!!  You can see the sketch here.  There's a whole blog dedicated to the Mojo Monday sketches now!!  It's great!!  I hope to get back into a routine, and complete these weekly!  We'll see how it goes!! haha!!!

Tkfitemojo

Sorry for the less than stellar picture (pun intended!!! haha!!), but I had to scan this one.  My camera is charging, and I couldn't wait!!!

I used the new Level II hostess set, A Little Somethin'--it's really a cute set.  Would be great for those younger stampers!!  Or the older stampers that are still "cool"!!!  (I don't think I qualify on either counts!!)

Just used Black Stazona and Real Red ink, along with Real Red and Basic Black cardstock.  See--I tried to used just Black and White!!  Oh well!!  It's a fun card anyway!!

Have a great day!!

Nacho's Meeting!!

Hi everyone!!  I held my team meeting on Monday evening.  It was a delayed Christmas party--we had pizza, salad and drinks; did a card swap; did a gift exchange; and I shared some information that I had learned at Leadership!  It was such a fun evening.  The girls in my downline aren't just Stampin' Up! acquaintances--we're friends!!  And to spend a few hours surrounded by friends was wonderful!!

I wanted to share with you the winning entry for our card swap!  Jenni has been a demonstrator for over 7 years, and this was the first time she won!!  And, you can see why--it's a beautiful card!!!

Downlinemtg 009

She used the Love You Much bundle!  I've really enjoyed this whole bundle!  If you're interested, you must order by tomorrow!!  Click here to order online, or contact me!!

Also, if you would like to learn how to make this card, please sign up for my February Stamp-a-Stack!!!  We'll make one similar to this!!  (click here to register--it's only $15, and we'll make 9 fun cards!!)

Have a wonderful day!!!

SCS Sketch Challenge #212

Good morning!!  It's been a long time since I tried a SCS sketch challenge!!!  But, I had a little time to play yesterday, and I was able to create the card:

Lostofstuff 011

I just love the Pretties kit!!  They're white in the box, but you can dye them any color you want!!  In this case,  I used the aqua painter and Cameo Coral reinker to "paint" the flower!  I love the way it turned out!!

Other supplies used:

Botanical Blooms Stamp Set

Cardstock:  Cameo Coral, Whisper White & Raspberry Tart Designer Paper

Misc:  Pretties Kit, Texturz Plates w/Big Shot, small and large Oval punches and the Eyelet Border punch

Downlinemtg 061

I used the new Polka Dot Punches stamp set!!  You can earn this set FREE--ask me how!!!

I stamped the heart three times on watercolor paper, then punched out using the scallop square punch.  I colored using the Watercolor crayons (real red) and the aquapainter!!  Very simple!

Other supplies used:

Holiday & Wishes Stamp Set

Cardstock:  Basic Black, Real Red textured

Ink:  Black Stazon

Misc:  Scallop Edge punch

Have a great day!!!

P.S.  Be sure to check out all my classes--just look in the right sidebar!!  I've got soooo much to share with you!!!

Hello!!!  I'm working on alot of new cards, but I can't share them quite yet--they're for my classes coming up in February!!  But, in the meantime, here's a beautiful tin that Sherrie gave us at Leadership!

Downlinemtg 001

Latenightstampers Design Challenge #4

Good morning!!!  It's Monday, and that means a design challenge from the Latenight Stampers group!!  This week our challenge is all about TAGS!!  There were no other instructions--just have some fun making tags!!!  Here's what I came up with:

Designteamandraks 014

I used the Big Shot and my Top Note die--cut one in Certainly Celery, and another using the designer paper, Delicate Dots.  (which you can earn FREE starting Feb 1!!!  Ask me how!)

The three hearts were made using the Sizzlits and the big shot!  Then, I covered the So Saffron heart with microbeads!!

Other items used:

Holiday & Wishes Stamp Set

Cardstock:  Certainly Celery, Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue, So Saffron & Delicate Dots Designer Paper

Ink:  Certainly Celery

Misc:  Jumbo Eyelets, word window punch, crop-a-dile, Ribbon from the Sale-a-bration Ribbon Bundle

Designteamandraks 021

Here's another I made.  Basically the same, but this time I used the Green Bead Duo!

Have a fantastic Day!!!

Somebody loves me!!!

Okay, actually three people sent me love this past week!!!

Designteamandraks 003

This first card came from my wonderful upline, Sherrie!!  We had such a great time at Leadership this year!  That's one of the very best things about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator--the lifelong friends you make!!  Sherrie also sent a roll of sticky strip--one of my most fav things!!!  Thanks Sherrie!!!

Designteamandraks 005

And here is a card from one of the newest members of my stamping team!!  Rose joined in October, and it's been so much fun getting to know her even better!!!  Isn't this card beautiful?!  That's faux stitching around the edges!!

Designteamandraks 008

And, this beauty is from someone that I consider one of my great friends--and we've never even met face to face!!!  Barb and I met a few years ago on an online group of stampers.  We've become friends over the years, and she's so generous in her sharing of ideas, etc!!  And this card--it's GORGEOUS!!!  That's the manhattan flower embossed in black on black--very striking!  Thanks so much, Barb!!!

I hope your job makes you as happy as mine makes me!!!  If not, give me a call--we'll get ya hooked up!!

Divas Sketch Challenge #14

Good morning!!  I missed last week's sketch challenge, but didn't want to miss two in a row!!!  Here are two versions of the Sketch Challenge #14!  (to see the actual sketch, clickhere)  I had great intentions for these cards, but they just didn't turn out the way I wanted!!

DivaSC14a

I used the Raspberry Tart designer paper for the "stripe" across.  The stamp set is a new one from the 2009  Spring/Summer Idea Book & Catalog.  It's called "Garden Greetings".  We received it FREE at the Manager's Reception--it was inside a Spiderman tin lunchbox!!  So cool!!  The Manager's reception was held at Universal Studios Theme Park--they closed the Super Hero park to the public--it was just Stampin' Up!  We had a blast--I got to ride the Hulk Roller Coaster ALL BY MYSELF!!!  It was dark outside and a little scarey, but so fun!!!

DivaSC14b

Sorry--I drifted off the subject!!  Here's my second card.  It's basically the same, I just stamped the flower a little higher, and added the sentiment on the oval!!

I hope you like the card!!!  Have a great day!

Leadership Display Boards

It's a very busy day today, but I didnt' want to leave you with nothing to look at!!!  Here are just a few pictures of the display boards at Leadership!!  Enjoy them!!!  (ps.  I have no idea who created these--so I have no idea who to give credit to!!)
