December Scrapbook Club

Good morning!!  Here is the 2-page spread we made at the December Scrapbook Club!!

Scrapclubdec

Can you believe it--absolutely NO stamping at all!!  But, I sure used my wonderful Big Shot!!  The title is made using the Serif Essentials alphabet dies.  The two circles us the Scallop  Circle Die, and then there's the Snowflake #2 Die--it's one of my favorites!!!

I have to tell you--when we first saw this at Convention, I wasn't sure.  Yes, it was VERY cool, and yes, I wanted it.  But, was it a good business buy?  Well, believe it or not, I came home after convention, and on our long drive to Steamboat Springs (for son's baseball world series), my husband talked me into it!!!  He could see the benefits of this machine, and he had never even seen it!!  Okay, he IS a man, and he does like tools..............haha!!  But, I have never been happier with any tool I've purchased.  I have used this machine 10 times more than I thought I would--it's just the best!  So, have you gotten one for yourself yet??

Just a little more incentive--starting on January 1, I will have a monthly newsletter just for those folks that purchase a Big Shot machine from me!  It will include projects, tips, and other tidbits of information about the Big Shot!!!  Hurry and get yours today!

Birthday Cards Galore!!!

Good morning!!!  I hope this finds all of you doing well!!  I have been sooooo lazy the last few days!  It's been really nice!  :-)  But, gotta get back to things today!!  We're going to put away the Christmas decorations--a little early for us, but we need to get it done!  Wanna know why??  I'm so excited!!!!  We're moving the boys back upstairs to the "regular" bedrooms, which means I get to move back to the basement!!!!  I will have a huge room--enough room for classes, clubs and meetings!!!  My wonderful hubbie is going to build a wonderful work area for me, and I'll have so much more room! woohoo!!  I will post pictures when it's all finished!!

So, I wanted to get ahead of the game, so I sat down Saturday and made a big bunch of birthday cards!!  I send out about 20-30 each month, and I still havent' sent out all my December birthday cards!  Well, now I'm all caught up!

Here are the cards--they're basically the same, I just used different designer paper and colors!

Decjanbdays

I used the Celebrate Everything and Party Hearty Stamp sets on both.  The Designer Paper is Junior Varsity--just used two different designs!  Colors used are Bashful Blue, So Saffron and Rose Red.
