Another Halloween Card

Toye2

Autumn Harvest is one of my favorite fall sets--I think it's because it's so versatile!  I can use it for all my fall stuff, but also for Halloween!!  I added the sentiment from the All Holidays Stamp Set.  If you don't have the All Holidays set--why not?!!  haha!!  I use it ALL the time--not sure how you manage without it!

Other supplies used for this card:

Cardstock:  Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie & Ghostly Greetings Designer Paper

Ink:  Black Stazon, Pumpkin Pie & Kiwi Kiss

Have a great day!!!

Halloween!!!

Good morning!!!  I have a fun class scheduled on Thursday night for a customer!  We're going to make 8 Halloween cards!!  Here is one that I've come up with:

Toye1  I just love this Arachnaphobia wheel!!  I think those spiders are just too cute!!!

I simply wheeled him on in black ink, on Lovely Lilac cardstock.  Then, I drew in his little white eyes with a white gel pen!  I layered that onto a quarter sheet of basic black, then onto the whisper white card base.  The white cardstock really makes his eyes pop!!  The sentiment is from the Occasions Collection Hostess set--just stamped in lovely lilac ink, then punched out with the small oval punch, then layered that onto a black large oval punch!!  Very simple, but very cute!!!

Have a great day today!!!

Weekend Sketch Challenge #59

Good afternoon!!!  Sorry for the late post today, but just now got on the computer!  I'm so excited--I am ready for all my upcoming classes!!!  woohoo!!

Here is one of the cards we'll make at October's Stamp Club meeting!!  I did this card for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge.

Octoberclasses 051  I used the Hawaiian Papaya Designer Paper--so pretty!!  And the main image is a rubon!!  These are so easy to use!!!

Supplies used:  Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss & Tangerine Tango Cardstock; Tangerine Tango Grosgrain ribbon;  Orange Duo Beads.

Octoberclasses 052

I used Crystal Effects to adhere the beads.  Just spread a  little on the center of the flower, then add the beads!  I use one of the needles from the Crafter's Took Kit to pick up the beads one at a time.

Enjoy!!  And, have a wonderful weekend!!

Gifts from Sherrie!!

Good morning!!!  I was so excited when I checked mail yesterday!!  I received not one, but TWO items from my wonderful upline, Sherrie!!!

Giftsfromsherrie 003

This is a card I received for being in the Top Ten in Sales for August--isn't it pretty?!!!  She's so talented!!!

Giftsfromsherrie 008

And, this is for being the "woohoo winner"!!!  Each Wednesday is "Woohoo Wednesday"--all of her team members can share any accomplishments or good news they've had that week!!  Then, Sherrie draws a name from those that participated!!  I was lucky enough to win!!  Woohoo!!!

This is a little purse made with our clear envelopes!!

Giftsfromsherrie 009

To see more of Sherrie's talent, go to her blog, Stampin' Fun with Sherrie.  And, if you're in or near Ohio, go take one of her classes!!  She's great!!  (and, if you're in the Albuquerque area, take one of my classes--I copy her all the time!!! haha!!)

Have a great day!!

Craft Fairs are comin'!!

Good morning!!  Well, I finally succumbed to the cold!!!  I feel miserable!!  But, life goes on, and I'm off to my second day of business math this morning!  I love taking classes--it's alot of fun!!  Of course, I'd like to remind you that I'm only taking one at a time, so it's not overwhelming!  I can't imagine going full time!!

Anyway, I've started working on my craft fair projects, and here's one of them!  I used the paper piecing template from Nicole Heady.

Craftfairitems 003

It's a box of cards!!  I used the clear boxes from PaperTrey Ink, and made a band out of the Banbury Designer Ppaer.  The words are from the hostess set, Best Yet.

Craftfairitems 020

Here are the cards that are inside!!  Again, I used the Banbury Designer Paper, along with Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue ribbons!!  Very quick and easy!  You could use the templates with any designer papaer!!

Enjoy!!

Scrapbook Club

Hello all!!!  I hope this finds you well and enjoying some beautiful fall weather!!  I love the crisp cool weather in the mornings!!!  It's perfect weather for running outdoors, but even better for sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee!!

Here are the pages we made at the September ScrapClub meeting.  I was definitely in a fall mood when I designed these pages!!  They'll be perfect pages for those trips out to McCall's pumpkin farm!!!

Septscrapbook 001

I used the Autumn Harvest stamp set, along with the Taffy Alphabet Lower.  Just FYI, the Autumn Harvest stamp set includes a stamp for a pumpkin carved face!!  So, it's a great way to get your Halloween cards done, as well as all our fall projects!!

Other supplies used:

Cardstock:  Very Vanilla & Old Olive 12x12;  Tangerine Tango, Old Olive & Very Vanilla 8 1/2x 11.

Ink:  Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, Kiwi Kiss & Chocolate Chip Classic Inks

Misc:  Large & Wide Oval punches; Stampin' Sponges

The white pieces on the pages are just scrap pieces of typing paper.  I just like to show where the pictures would go.  I don't like to mat all my photos, so this helps my club members "see" what I was thinking!!

Have a great day!!

Gifts for a Friend

Good morning!!  I am starting my business math class today--and I'm a little nervous!!  It's always hard for me to go to class on the first day!  Mostly, I'm scared that I'll be older than the professor!!!  haha!!!  And, secondly, I don't want anyone to laugh at me!!  Oh well, I'll get over it!  I love taking classes, so I'll have to!!  (get over it, that is)

Before i go though, I wanted to share with you a gift I made for a friend.  She turned the big 4-0 on Friday, and the party was Saturday night.  The party consisted of wine tastings at 3 wineries, then dinner and more wine at another friend's house.  It was so much fun, and the food and wine was awesome!!  Anyway, she asked for no gifts, but I wanted to something!!  So, I made a wine journal for her to keep track of wines she liked, and then a picture frame--for a picture of that night with her friends!  (hey, she's 40 now, she may not remember it on her own!!! haha!!)

Shoebox 017

I made both using the Bella Rose Designer Paper--it matched perfectly with this frame I picked up at Hobby Lobby!!  Which matched her house perfectly!!  The "friends" is a rub on, so it will "float" in front of the picture.

Shoebox 005

Here's an up close of the wine journal.  I got the idea from an old issue of Paper Crafts magazine.  It was the Dec 2006/Jan 2007 issue, if you're wondering!

Shoebox 010

And, here's the inside.  The saying is right from the magazine, and the pages can be downloaded from their site as well!  (www.papercraftsmag.com/projects)

Shoebox 002

And here's a closer shot of the frame.  Sorry it isn't the best picture, but I don't know how to avoid the glare on the glass!!

Enjoy your day, and wish me luck in my class!!

Techno Stamper's Lunchtime Sketch!!

Woohoo!!!  I got a little bit of time today to stamp!!  I managed to finish a swap, and I played along with the Lunchtime Sketch!!!

Challenges 005

I used the Level 2 Hostess set, Occasions Collection for the only stamping on this card!!!  The paper is from the Autumn Vine Designer Paper--which will be available for purchase on October 1!!  It's very pretty, and the colors are soft and pretty!!!

Other supplies used for my card:

Cardstock:  Really Rust, Sage Shadow & Chocolate Chip

Ink:  Really Rust & Sage Shadow

Misc:  Small, Large & Wide Oval punches;  Vintange brads; 5/8" Chocolate grosgrain, and Caramel Ginghame ribbon.

Enjoy!!!
