Groovy Guava!!!!!!!!

Hi!!  We had a great time at my card class yesterday!!  Thanks to all who came!  Here's is another of the cards we made:

I used the Priceless stamp set.  Everything else is Groovy Guava and Whisper White!!!  I tried to keep these cards simple--and this certainly is!!! 

The guava ribbon is from Sherbet Ribbon Originals.  It has several ribbons in the "In Color" colors, so I don't think it'll be around after the new catalog comes out--so, you'd better get it now!! :-)

SCS Sketch Challenge

Good morning!!!  Here's a card a did a week or so ago--for the SCS SC183.  I am really going to miss this designer paper--I seem to always go to it!!!

Supplies used:

Embrace Life Stamp Set

Cardstock:  Cameo Coral, Ruby Red, River Rock, Very Vanilla & Ginger Blossom Designer Paper

Ink:  Black Stazon, River Rock & Ruby Red

Misc:  Earth Elements brads, aquapainter

All Star Gift Bags!!

Look what I made yesterday!!!  They're gift bags for the boys on Brandon's All Star team!  I love them!!  It's all Stampin' Up!, except for the baseball brads--got those on sale at Hobby Lobby!!!  I used the Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel with the Real Red ink cartridge.  (their colors are red and black)

Here are all the bags together--there are 13 boys!

Here's a closer look at Brandon's. 

And, here's the tag.  I printed the names on the 1"x 4" labels, then layered those onto Black then Red cardstock.  I punched a black circle with the 3/4" punch, then put the brad through the whole thing.  I punched a 1/8" hole in the bag, about an inch from the top, and attached the tag using the brad!! 

This was such an easy project, but I just love the way it turned out!!!

Another Class Card.........

Well, no stamping yesterday.  :-(  I woke up yesterday morning at 4am, and could not get back to sleep!  So, I was been a zombie all day!!  Luckily, I didn't have to think much!!! haha!!  So, here's another card that we'll make at my class on Sunday!!

I just love this paper!!!  It's from the Ginger Blossom Designer Paper.  I'm almost positive it will be retiring, as it contains some of the In Colors from this year.  Oh well--I'm sure we'll have some that's even better!!

Very Simple card--River Rock and Whisper White!!  The "hello" is from Fundamental Phrases--and that's the only stamping involved!!  But, I really like the way it turned out!  I am a simple stamper--no use trying to hide it!! haha!!

July Card Class--Sneak Peek!

Good morning!!  I haven't had time to "play" with my new toys yet, but hopefully today!!  In the meantime, check out this card:

This is one of the cards we'll be making at my July Card Class on Sunday!!  (it's filling fast, but I do have a couple of spots still available!!)

I used the Pun Fun stamp set--love this set!!!  I stamped the bird onto whisper white cardstock, then stamped him again onto a scrap of designer paper.  I cut the image out from the designer paper, then adhered it to the whisper white image!  Instant color!!

For inspiration, I used a sketch challenge found on the Our Creative Corner blog!  Most of my cards start with a sketch--it's just easy for me to "create" if I have a starting point!!

Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow!!  I just got a big box of goodies!!!  As a demonstrator, we are allowed to pre-order some of the new items coming out in August!!!  I just got mine today!!!  There's a new scallop punch, new In colors, new card elements kits.................oh my goodness!!!  I hope to stamp some this evening--come back tomorrow to see all the fun stuff!!!

I'm off to my son's Allstar game now!!  Go Petroglyph!!!

Decor Elements

Good morning!!!  How are you this morning?!!  I'm great!!  I've been on the computer booking our shore excursions for our cruise!!  11 Days!!!  I'm so excited!!  It's going to be a great time!!!

Anyway, here's a picture of the new Decor Elements that Stampin' Up! is now carrying!! 

Sorry-- I know it's not a great picture, but I'm still learning how to use my new camera!! 

This saying came on one sheet, and you apply it at the same time--you don't have to line up each letter--thank goodness!!! :-)

Yep--it's another card!!!  Can you believe it!!  That's two cards in one afternoon!  After I did Julee's sketch yesterday afternoon, I was "inspired" to try another!  This is from Card of the Week.

Mojo Monday #45!!

Woohoo!!  I got to stamp today!!  Well, I've been stamping alot lately, but all for my upcoming card class--so I can't show you all those until after the class!!  Anyway, I have a whole stack of sketch challenges I've been meaning to get to, and this afternoon I was able to comple Julee's Mojo Monday sketch!!

I used the Wild Rose stamp set.  It's so pretty--so sad to see it retiring!!  The sentiment is from All Holidays.

Colors used:  Rose Red, Real Red and Wild Wasabi.  Not sure if you can tell from my picture, but the Wild Wasabi layer is actually textured cardstock.  I love that stuff!!!
