Birthday Money Holder
July 25, 2008
Hi!! My kids are at the age where it's soooo hard to pick out gifts for their friends! So, we usually give money or gift cards. (plus, I love to make these holders!!). Anyway, last Saturday, Bran had a birthday party to go to, and this is the money holder I made:
I used Real Red Cardstock for the base--I don't really measure--just fold it around the money or gift card!! I used the Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel on the Red and on the white cardstock. The letters are from the Taffy Alphabet. The baseballs are from the retired "Sporting Goods" stamp set. I NEVER get rid of any of the sports stamp sets!! It's so hard to find them, and I use them all the time. (with 2 boys in sports, it's hard not to!!)
Here's the inside of the money holder. The bottom flap is "wheeled", too. I then stamped the "Happy Birthday" from the soon-to-be-retired "It's Your Birthday" stamp set. (love this one--will miss it!!) I punched out the notch using the 1 1/4" circle punch.
These are so easy to make!!! And, giving a personalized gift is so much fun!!
Have a great day!!
Happy Stamping!
How cute! I want one of these...of course with the money in it. LOL I hope you are having a great vacation.
