And here's my card!!

Tkfitekcc7 I used the Priceless stamp set!  The card base is Soft Sky.  The layers are Close to Cocoa, Soft Sky, Very Vanilla and Soft Sky Prints Designer Paper.  Ink:  Close to Cocoa and Soft Sky.  I used the Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon.

I really liked the layout (I used the layout for the SC173 at SplitcoastStampers).

Enjoy!!!

Happy Stamping!!

Techno Stamper's Monday Sketch

Hello all!!  I've been busy all weekend getting ready for my Tart & Tangy class tonight!!  I'm excited--it should be loads of fun!!  I did manage to do some stamping for fun!  Here's a card I made using the Monday Sketch Challenge on Mary Jo's blog:

Mjlunch15tkfite

I still had my supplies out from the previous posts' card, so I just used that!  The Wanted stamp set is one of my favorites, and I love the Western Sky designer Paper.  Aren't you proud of me for using it!!  I tend to hoard all my paper, but I'm getting better!!

Other supplies used:  Antique Brass jumbo eyelets, Blue Bayou grosgrain ribbon, It's Your Birthday stamp set, Soft Sky cardstock and Blue Bayou cardstock!Mjlunch15tkfite1

Happy Stamping!!!

Super Sunday Sketch #2

Woohoo!!  I made it two weeks in a row!!  I love Amy's sketch challenges!  She makes us use THREE different patterned papers in our cards!!  Sometimes that's hard for pattern-challenged folks like myself!!  But, for some reason, this card came together very easily!!  You can see the sketch on Amy's blog.

Here's my card:

Ssk2tkfite2 I used the Western Sky Designer Paper.  I guess that's kinda cheating, since they all coordinate!  But, I'll take all the help I can get!! haha!!

The horse is from the Wanted stamp set, and to create "motion", I just inked him up once, then stamped three times.  (don't ink up between stampings).  I used Blue Bayou classic ink.  Teh colors in this paper are Blue Bayou, Ruby Red and Soft Sky.

Ssk2tkfite3 See how well they coordinate?!!

Happy Stamping!!

Sketches

Hello everyone!!  I hope everyone is well--I am sicker than a dog!!!  I just can't seem to shake this cold.  I think we're just passing it back and forth in our family!  I need to do a thorough house de-germing, but just don't feel like it!! :-)  I plan on going to bed EARLY tonight--hopefully, that will help!

In the meantime, here's a card I made after see this sketch!  It's not a challenge or anything, but I liked the sketch so thought I'd try it.  Tamara does post sketch challenges, so be sure and check out her site!!

Here's the sketch:

I did my scallops on the opposite side, but stuck to the sketch otherwise!

Stamp set:  Perfect Princess & It's Your Birthday

The white piece with the tiara is covered in iridescent ice embossing powder--very sparkly!!

Have a great day!!!

SUDSOL Cotm

Hi!  I am a member of SUDSOL--a group for Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  It's a wonderful resource--loads of ideas, both business and creative!!  I love it!!!  They also do swaps and other fun stuff.  This was the "Card of the Month" program that I participated in.  I was assigned two partners, and we "swapped" cards!  Very easy--much easier than stamping 20 of one card!! haha!!

Cotm1

This first card came fron Jeanie Heinrich.  The flower is stamped on glossy paper, and has iridescent ice in the middle of the flower.  Very pretty card!!

Cotm2

And, this criss cross card was sent to me by Debi Costello!  It is so soft and pretty!!  Very nice!!

Thanks, girls!!!

Peppermint Patties..............

Good morning!!!  This is one of the projects I've been working on all week!!  It was alot of punching--my wrists were sore!! haha!!  I made 125 of these little guys--I'm putting them in the goodie bags for the golf tournament this weekend.  (my two boys' baseball teams are sponsoring a golf tournament, for fundraising).

Peppermintpatty1 I used the Sporting and Just Golf stamp sets.  Colors are Real Red and Glorious Green.  I used the scallop, 1 3/8" & 1 1/4" punches.   I punched 500 circles!!!  WOW!!!

Of course, most of the golfers are men, so they'll just eat the peppermint patties, and throw away all my hard work................

Maybe someone will see and appreciate them...........

That's okay--either way, I had fun making them!!!Peppermintpatty2

Here's another view!  Aren't they fun?!!

Happy Stamping!!

p.s.  I won't be around much tomorrow--it's golf tournament day!

Color Inspiration #6

Good morning!  I saw this color challenge on one of my favorite blogs.  042208colors Isn't this a soothing picture?  I love the feel of it.   I was really drawn to these colors!  Here's my version:

Kwcolor10

I started with a Sahara Sand card base.  I stamped it with the Paisley Background stamp in Pumpkin Pie Ink.  I did the same for the panel--it's stamped with pumpkin pie on whisper white, then layered onto another piece of whisper white.  The pumpkin flowers are from the Die Cute Blooms, and I punched the saffron flowers using the 5 petal punch.  The brads are from the Ice Rhinestone collection.   I hope you like it!!!

Kwernercolortkfite

Here's another view of the flowers--you can see that they're raised with stampin' dimensionals!

Happy Stamping!!!

More shoebox swap cards!!

Here are the other cards we made on Monday evening!!  They were all great cards!!!

Shoeboxlani

This card was designed by Leilani--she said she CASE'd it from the current issue of "Cards" magazine.  It's beautiful, isn't it!!  And the ribbon flower--not that hard to make!!!

Shoeboxrees

This card was designed by Rees.  Now I "need" this set--thanks alot!! haha!!!

Shoeboxjenni

See why I "need" this set!!  Jenni designed this card--very cute!!  Loved the paper piercing!!

Shoeboxanne

And, last but certainly not least, is the card designed by Anne!!  This is a fun technique.  When I first did it, it looked terrible--or so I thought!!  Once I drew the lines on the "wood", I loved it!!

Enjoy!!

Swap Card

Hi!!  I held a downline meeting on Monday evening--well, it was a shoebox swap, not a "real" meeting!!  :-)  We each brought a card with all the supplies to make it!  Then, we pass around the shoebox, and each get to make one of each of the cards!!  It was loads of fun!!  And, the cards were really cute!!  Here's mine:

Tkite

I used the "Live Your Dream" stamp set (of course!), and the Long Notes in Groovy Guava.  The designer Paper is from the Afternoon Tea collection.  Other colors used:  groovy guava, chocolate chip and Wild wasabi.  I showed them how to make markers from blender pens!!  Just use your regular reinkers, and "refill" the blender pens!!  This works great for the In Colors!!

More cards soon--still need to take the photos!!!

Happy Stamping!!
