SherriecoverHere is the cover.  It's done on a coaster (4"x4").

Sherriecoverup Here's a shot of the chipboard flower she used.

Sherrieside The front and back covers are coasters, and the inside pages are cardstock!!  It's beautiful!!!

Thanks so much, Sherrie!!

Gifts

Good morning!!  I wanted to share with you the little gifts I sent to my direct downline!  I wanted to wait to post so that everyone would be surprised!!  I hope they were!!!  (I sent gifts because I never got my Christmas cards sent out!!!)

Tkfitedirectgift I used Whisper White cardstock as the base, and layered a square of Soft Sky Designer Prints on top.  The ribbon is the White taffeta ribbon.  I printed the words on my computer, then punched out using the small oval punch. Layered that on a piece of Soft Sky cardstock, punched with the large oval punch!  Very simple, but I love the way they turned out!!!

The calenders were purchased at www.vippies.com, and the calendar case is from www.effectuality.com.

Birthday Bash!!

Here's another of the cards we made on Saturday morning!!!

Birthbash6 I used the "A Little Birdie Told Me" Stamp set--isn't he a cutie?!!

Cardstock:  So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Rose Red & Cutie Pie Designer Paper

Ink:  Basic Black Pad; So Saffron & Bashful Blue Stampin' Write Markers

Misc:  Soft Subtle Brads, Small Oval Punch, Bashful Blue Grosgrain Ribbon

The bird is also done with designer paper!!  Just stamp the bird on white cardstock.  Then, stamp him again on the designer paper, cut him out, and glue him onto the white!!  So cute!!!

Happy Stamping!

Birthday Bash!!

Good morning!!  Here is one of the cards we made at the Birthday Bash yesterday morning!!  It was a fun morning of stamping!!

This card uses the "Wanted" Stamp set--I really like this set!  I used River Rock, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Whisper White and Western Sky Designer Paper.  For ink, I used the Blue Bayou--to create the "motion" of the horse, just stamp four times, moving the stamp a little to the left each time.  Do NOT re-ink the stamp--this creates the lighter images as you go.

Enjoy!!Birthbash2

January Card Club

Tkfembrace Here's Card #2 for January!!  I used the Embrace Life stamp set and Ginger Blossoms Designer Paper!  The card base is Cameo Coral, and the flowers are stamped on Watercolor Paper with Stazon.  I colored in using the aquapainters and Ruby Red and Cameo Coral inks.  The ribbon is River Rock!

Happy Stamping!!!

More Retired Sets added to list!!

I have added more stamps to my retired sets list!!!  I found a couple of boxes of "older" sets--these retired in June of 2007 or earlier.  Please take a look!!  (see sidebar on right).  I accept cash, checks (will mail sets when check clears), credit cards, or paypal.  Sets will be sold on a first come/first served basis!

Happy Shopping!!

SCS SC158

Here is my version of this week's sketch challenge!  I really enjoy these sketch challenges--I struggle with layouts, so this makes it easy for me!!

Birthbash3 This weeks sketch is a "kick-stand" card.  Which means, the main image (balloons) is the "kick-stand".  The brown you see at the bottom of the card is actually the inside of the card.  It's hard to explain, but you can see the sketch here.  I'll try to take some better pictures this weekend, if the sun comes out!! :-)

Bitty Birthday Stamp Set

Cardstock:  Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa & Berry Bliss Designer Paper.

Ink:  Basic Brown, Pretty in Pink.  Also used the Basic Brown Journaler to make the balloon strings.

Misc:  Pink Gingham ribbon & double hole punch.

SDC 10

Good afternoon!!  I have been stamping ALL day!!  What fun!  I have a Birthday Bonanza card class on Saturday, so I've been working on that!  I received my order from the new catalog yesterday, so am changing some cards to incorporate some new stuff!!  It's all so beautiful!!!!

Here is a card I made for the SUDSOL Design Challenge:

Tkfitesdc10 There is absolutely no stamping involved on this card!!  Can you believe it?!!  I used Pumpkin Pie for my card base, then layered some Bali Breeze Designer paper. The white flower is actually a rub-on!!!  From the Eastern Elegance collection!  I applied it to Pumpkin Pie cardstock, then punched out using the 1 1/4" punch.  Layered that on white, then tempting turquoise!  The white flowers along the "seam" are also rub-ons!!!  Have you ordered yours yet?!!!  You'll love them!!!

Happy Stamping!!
