Scrapbooking!!!

Yes, I do a little scrapbooking!!! Not much, but I hope to change that this year! Actually, I recently started a scrapbook club--we meet once a month, and I provide them with a two-page spread to make and take home with them! This will be a challenge for me, but I'm looking forward to it!!

This spread features Maycee!! She's almost 3 years old, and is the granddaughter of one my very best and dearest friends. Isn't she a doll!!! As a mom of two boys (and no girls!!), I've really enjoyed watching Maycee grow up, and seeing the differences!! She loves shoes!!! But, it's so funny because she doesn't like to wear matching shoes!!! Yep, she insists on wearing two different shoes all the time!! And, she is sooooo girly--loves all the froo froo stuff!! But, she can "hang" with the boys when they start to wrestle around!!! All in all, I think she's perfect!!

Baroque Motifs

Have you missed this set? I gave it a little rest, but have recently pulled it out again! I really like the set alot!!!

Cardstock used: Whisper White, Real Red Textured, and Basic Black

Ink: Real Red

Misc: Scallop Punch, White grosgrain ribbon & vintage brads.

I made these cards for a silent auction they had at my church. I put eight of them in a box (with a clear lid), and tied it up with a ribbon!

Valentine Treats!!

Here's a cute and quick Valentine treat idea!!!

I used the Happy Heart Day Stamp set for the tag, and the Little Pieces stamp set for the background. I just folded over the Close to Cocoa, and stapled it directly to the M&M's package (treat size). I stamped everything in Basic Brown, then colored the tag with Pretty in PInk. I then layered the tag onto Pretty in Pink cardstock,and tied with the Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon!!

Easy Peasy!!

Sale-A-Bration is Coming!!!

I can't wait!! It's been hard waiting until February, but it's going to be worth it!! The sets that are being offered are gorgeous!! And, this year, there is even a package of RUB-ONS!!! If you haven't tried these yet, you need to--they are so much fun, and so easy to use!!!

Anyway, on to the card! I made this one for a demonstrator swap. I love the colors in the Cutie Pie Designer paper, and find myself using it all the time!

The base of this card is 5" x 5" and is Rose Red. I layered a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" piece of Whisper White, then the Cutie Pie DP, measuring 4" x 4".
