LOVE the designer papers!!

Ccnov4 And with the Stampin' Up! special right now (Buy 3, Get 1 FREE!!), you know I'm stocking up!! haha!!  So, expect to see lots and lots of designer paper in the next month or so!!

This card is a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" square.  I used Purely Pomegranate for the base, then layered a piece of the Holiday Harmony Designer Paper (4"x4").  I stamped the images from Punch Pals in Basic Black ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla and Always Artichoke, then punched out using the Scallop Circle (vanilla) and the 1 1/4" circle punch (artichoke).  I used the 3/4" Circle punch to punch out the snowflake.  I also punched a scallop circle from a scrap of Purely Pomegranate.  Layered all these together, then attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals!!  The ribbon is our double stitched grosgrain, in Purely Pomegranate!

Quick and Simple!!!

Don't Look Closely.........

Ccnov3 at this card!  It's not my best work, but I wanted to share the idea anyway!  We made this card Friday night at our card club meeting--the ladies' cards turned out MUCH better!  But, in my defense, I have been super sick--I tried this card about six times, and this was the best one of the six!!

To make the background, start with glossy white paper and the Blue Frost Spectrum Pad.  Use your brayer to roll on the ink.  Let dry completely, then stamp the trees in Basic Black ink.  Let dry completely again!  Remember, this is glossy paper, and it takes a few minutes for the ink to dry!  Then, using the two-way glue pen, "color" where you want your glitter.  I added it the ground for a snowy effect.  Apply the Dazzling Diamonds glitter, and shake off the excess.  I layered this on Basic Black cardstock, then the Silver metallic.  The card base is Brilliant Blue.  I stamped the sentiment (yes, it's crooked!!!) in Silver Encore ink!

It's really a striking card, if done better than I did!!! :-)

Have a great week!!!

November Card Club #2

Ccnov2 Good morning!!  Here is another card we made Friday night at our Card Club meeting!!  This one was totally CASE'd (copy and steal everything) from my friend Barb.  You can see her beautiful creations here.  She's quite talented, and I find myself "stealing" her ideas quite often!!  Thanks, Barb, for sharing so generously!!

November Card Club!

We had our monthly Card Club meeting last night!!  It was a fun evening!  Here's one of the cards we made:

Ccnov1 I used the Flaky Friends Stamp Set--it's an old favorite of mine!  The card base is Pretty in Pink--the snowflakes are also stamped in Pretty in PInk, creating a subtle background.  I stamped the snowmen on Whisper White with Black Stazon ink, then colored with Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose Stampin' Write Markers.  I used the Ticket Corner Punch, then layered it onto Regal Rose Cardstock, cut 1/4" bigger than the white.  I used the 1/16" punch, and inserted silver brads in the corners.  This is attached to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The ribbon is simply tied around the entire card front--I used the pink gingham ribbon.

I used to make pink Christmas cards for my Granny to send out each year, and even though she isn't with us anymore, I still like to do at least one pink card each year!

Happy Stamping!

Soooooooooooooooo sorry!!

I am so sorry that I haven't posted!!!  I have been sick, sick, sick!!!  First with what I thought was the stomach flu, but was actually another migraine--canNOT handle these!!  Now, I'm on day 4 of a horrible cold.  And, to top it all off, my wonderful hubbie, who usually takes care of me, has been in San Diego.  (I was actually feeling human on Friday, when he left--otherwise, he would never have gone!!).

I did manage to update my Stampin' Up! website, so be sure and check that out!  Just click here to get to that website!

I hope to be stamping tomorrow and Wednesday!  Wish me luck!! :-)

Have a great day!  I'm off to the airport to pick up Rich!!

Another Craft Fair Item

Calendar This is a 3x5 calendar--one page per month!!  I found the frames at the local dollar store.  They were cheaper than the regular plastic ones, so I snatched up all they had!!  :-)

I made 8 of them at once, and it really didn't take very long!  I did them asembly-line fashion--just stamped one month at a time!  My son, Brandon, helped me color in the dragon flies on August!!

Wouldnt' these look cute sitting on your desk?!!

Happy Stamping!!!

Covered Gum!!

Tkfitegum  Here is a pack of gum that I wrapped using the Wintergreen Designer paper!  The "Let it Snow" is from the Cold Play stamp set.

Tkfitegum2 And, here is another I made with the Dashing Designer Paper, and the Season of Joy stamp set.

These are very simple to make, and would make great treats for bus drivers, postmen, hairdressers, etc.

Happy Stamping!!!
