One more......

Good evening!!  I wanted to post one more card before I go night-night!!  And, before the weekend hits!  Spring Break is ending, and I'll be back at work Monday morning!  UGH!!  :-)  So, if you don't see any updates for a few days, you'll know why.  But, only 7 more weeks of work, then it's out for summer!! hooray!!

Anyhoo....here is a card I've been working on for my workshops in April!  It uses So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Rose Red & Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped using Basic Brown ink, then colored with Rose Red, So Saffron, Almost Amethyst & Creamy Caramel Stampin' Write markers.  The image will change after this week, but the layout will stay the same!

Pattiswkshp Dimensions of the card--3"x6".  It fits perfectly in our small open-end envelopes!

Happy Stamping!!

Copycat Challenge!

Good afternoon!!!  Again, I have been stamping this morning!!  My upline (the person that I signed up under) is Sherrie Thomas.  She is wonderful, and I'm so thankful for her help and guidance.  Recently, she issued a challenge to her group to find a card in the catalog, and copy it exactly.  Then, use that same template, and create a new card!  Here is mine:

Tkfitechallenge I copied the card on the right from page 224 of the catalog.  It uses the Snowflake Spot stamp set, Blue Frost spectrum pad, bashful blue & brilliant blue inks and cardstock.  Then, I used a different stamp set (Love without End), and different colors (cotton candy spectrum, pretty in pink & rose red) to creat the second card!  WOW!!  It was so easy!  That's why our Catalog and Idea Book are so valuable!  There are over 500 samples to copy!!  And remember, you don't always have to have the same set that is used in the samples--just use them as a guideline!!

Happy Stamping!!

Simply Scrappin'

Tamsimpscrap Good morning!!!  I have been stamping all morning!!  The boys slept until 10:30am, so I had 2 whole hours of quiet!  Very nice!!  I have my workshop projects planned for April & May--I'm very excited about them!!  Workshops are always such a great time--good friends and stamping, who could ask for more!!

Here is a card I made using the "Friends & Flowers" Simply Scrappin' Kit.  (It's the level I hostess goodie).  Not much stamping--just the "many thanks" from the All Year Cheer set.  But, I thought it was cute!!  The simply scrappin' kits are great--they have some really cute patterned paper, as well as solid cardstock and great diecut stickers.  The nicest thing about them is that they already coordinate--so they're super easy to use!!  And, you can use them for cards, as well as scrapbooking!!!

Have a great day!!

Tkfitepdp1_2

Good morning!!!  Here is a fun card I made a month or so ago!  It uses the Polka Dots & Paisleys Stamp set!  Colors used are Tempting Turquoise, Pnk Passion, Only Orange and Yoyo Yellow!  I really like this set--especially since Stampin' Up! sent it as a Christmas present!!  (I love FREE stamps!)

Have a great day!!

I'm back!!!

Good evening!!!  We've just gotten home from a very wet weekend in Phoenix!!!  Yes, it was pouring down rain!!  But, we lucked out, and our team did play all their games.   The boys played hard, but lost the first bracket game, so we were finished on Saturday night.  We played a team from Alaska!!!  We won that one, but then lost to the #1 team from Arizona and the #1 team from Northern California!!   They were awesome teams--and HUGE!!  They had players taller than me!! :-)  Anyway, it was a great learning experience for the boys, and we all had a great time.

I hope you're all enjoying spring break!!  I'm looking forward to a relaxing week!!

Hugs,

Tammy

Off to Phoenix!!

Good evening!!  It's late--I've been up packing!  We're headed to Phoenix tomorrow for a baseball tournament--Cameron's team is playing.  We're also going to check out some spring training if we can get tickets!!  It's going to be fun!!

I wanted to share another sample with you before I go!!

Tkfitepdp2 This one is made using the Polka Dots & Paisley Stamp set!  Colors used are Rose Red, So Saffron & Chocolate chip!  Again, a simple design, but I really liked it!!

Have a great day!!  Don't forget to sign up for email updates!!  (see the side bar)

Have you stamped today?

March 21, 2007

Good afternoon!!!  I'm still learning, but it's getting easier!!!  Here is a card I made using the "Doodle This" stamp set, found in the Spring Mini Catalog.  I absolutely LOVE just about everything in this catalog!!  This card uses Apricot Appeal, Basic Black & Whisper White cardstock.  For ink, I used the Basic Black stmap pad, and Apricot Appeal, Cameo coral & Bashful blue Stampin' Write markers.  For the sentiment, I used the words from the "All Around Argyle" hostess set, and the two oval punches.  It's a very easy card!!  (aren't most of my cards!!)

Challenge

Have a great weekend, and don't forget to set you clocks!!

Hugs,

Tammy
