  3. Stamp your sentiment on the smaller Whisper White card stock and attach it to the small Basic Gray piece.
  4. Flag one end of both Pumpkin Pie card stock strips and attach one to the backside of the sentiment then attach the sentiment to front of the card with dimensionals.
  5. Stamp the dragon in Memento Black ink and then color with your Stampin’ Blends. Finish that piece with stamping the sparkle stamp in Pumpkin Pie.
  6. Die cut a scallop square in the Silver Glimmer Paper then attach the dragon on top.
  7. You will attach the other Pumpkin Pie flag to the backside of the glimmer paper. Then I put some fast fuse on the back to attach a little (messy) nest of the Silver Metallic Thread. When that’s done then attach it to the front of the card using dimensionals.

Heart Happiness

Good Morning, and Happy Wednesday!  Love these short weeks, don't you?!!  Here's a fun card I created this weekend, using the Heart Happiness Stamp Set!  Hearts do make me happy!  This fun set is found in the new Occasions Catalog -- which just happens to go live today!  I have copies avaiable for pick up -- just let me know!!

For the background, I used more of the Brusho Crystal Colors -- these are so much fun to use!  And so easy!!  I used the yellow and red on this card -- as you can see they mix very nicely!   I then stamped hearts over the top of the Brush (once it was dry)  The biggest heart is Real Red, the medium is Pumpkin Pie, and the smaller hearts are Crushed Curry.  For some reason, I couldn't quite get the colors right in the photo.

The sentiment is from an older set, Lift Me Up.  To finish it off, I added some cute rhinestones.

Hold on to Hope

I found a brand new challenge!  It's called Inky Friends -- looks like they're going to do sketches and color challenges!  Can't wait!  There first challenge is a sketch challenge, based on the card found on page 61 of the "big" catalog!  Here's my take on the sketch:

I used a new set from the Occasions Catalog, Hold on to Hope.  There is a set of coordinating framelits, Cross of Hope, but I didn't use them on this card.  I really wanted to try the new Brusho Crystal Color -- WOW!!  It's so fun to use, and very easy!  I used the blue (under the sentiment), and then added just a few specks of red.  Love the way it came out!

Here's the sketch:

Thanks!!

WOOHOO!!  I stamped!!!  I've been off of work for over a week, and I've done a lot of cleaning and organizing, but not a lot of stamping.  I decided this morning that I had better get my Christmas thank-you's done and in the mail!  So, I pulled out some of my stash and had some fun!  I used the Freshly Made Sketches challenge as my starting point.  Here's what I came up with:
